Drive "sdg" in my system is a flash drive that is used by an Unraid VM.

When the VM is stopped, the device is listed in /dev:

    and shown by UD:

When the VM is started, the device is no longer listed here:

    image.png.1a488edc572034b87cc2c0d67ce36353.png

Nor is it shown by UD.

However, regardless of whether the VM is stopped or started, it is shown on the dashboard:

Including a link to interact with the drive:

    /Dashboard/New?name=sdg

All this to say... once the device is claimed by the VM, can it be removed from the dashboard? This would be consistent with what is displayed on the UD tab.

The attached diags are from after the VM is started (removed)

The Dashboard shows whatever emhttp puts/recognizes as unassigned device(s).

Note: running Unraid in a VM is a non-officially supported set up.

Unraid as a client is not officially supported, but Unraid as a host needs to be able to pass disks to whatever the client is.

And once the host releases the disk so it is no longer visible under /dev/, it seems like it should be removed from the dashboard the way it is removed from the UD tab.
