Decided to upgrade purely for the new login window.

System came up, but the network was completely shafted.  The reordering of interfaces seems to be missing in this version.

On top of that, it was only displaying the on board intel gigabit connection, the x520 card was not appearing.  After a bit of head scratching (deleted the network.cfg and rebooted) I manually inserted the insmodded the ixgbe driver and it was then picking up the port correctly, I configured it and now in back up and running but assume it will break again on reboot.

    How do I:

1.) Make sure the ixgbe driver is loaded at boot

2.) Change the order of network cards in this version.

    Thanks

(8've marked this as urgent as if its something common it will break unraid for a lot of folks)

If interface assignment wasn't as before or the driver wasn't loaded, it points to an issue with the USB device where all this information is stored.

Did you check your USB device for any corruption?

    - please attach diagnostics if the issue re-occurs.

    - this is not common at all, no need to mark as urgent

I deleted the network configuration and resetting that way.

But I'm still missing the reordering on the network page, both nics are displaying but I can't change the order.

LT had to revert to the intree driver, it's on the release notes:

Some out-of-tree (oot) drivers are currently omitted either because the source code doesn't compile or driver doesn't work with the 5.3 kernel:

Intel ixgbe [does not build] (using in-tree driver)

    Highpoint r750 [does not work]

    Highpoint rr3740a [does not build]

And it appears the intree driver doesn't support the parameter you appended to bzroot:

Oct 16 13:12:59 Tower kernel: ixgbe: `1,1' invalid for parameter `allow_unsupported_sfp'

Thanks. Weird how I can insmod it and it works fine.  I will remove that from the boot config as I'm using intel sfp modules anyway.
