• [6.9.0 Beta 30] only 30-40MB/s transfer from HDD and high CPU usage on Dashboard

I have noticed that transfer from the array to my desktop over a 10G network is now only running at 40MB/s or lower.

Previously this was running smoothly at over 100MB/s.

Also on the dashboard shows high usage of all cores.

Ther are no other activities on this drive or the server. Clean reboot.

    Any ideas?

I don't have an answer to this, but try doing the same things with top/htop open. If you still see high CPU usage there, then there might be something up. If you don't, it's because the dashboard CPU takes iowait into account, which can spike if the CPU is waiting on disks.

Obligatory feature request for iowait to be removed from dashboard CPU usage. This isn't the first time it's caused confusion. It really shouldn't be there. If it is going to be there, don't call it "CPU".

Ok, this is the behaviour as you described. htop shows minimal cpu usage and the dashboard is as shown in the screenshot.

Issue: slow transfer speeds. Anyone have an idea whats up with this?
