[6.9.0-beta25] Unable to schedule a parity check

Reported by @MrLinux in the general support forum, clean v6.9-beta25 install, without cache/pool devices can't schedule a parity check:

It starts working correctly as soon as you have at least one cache device assigned:

    Configure browser push notifications
    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
