• 6.9.0-beta30 Lost connection to multiple drives

Im not exactly sure what happened, but when I upgraded to beta 30.  I can only see 8 of my 27 drives.    The rest appear as missing and I received a "Array Stopped - Stale Configuration" error.

I rebooted, same,  rolled back to Beta 29 and still have the issue.

Im thinking either my expanders or one of my cards stopped responding, perhaps due to a driver change?

Diags attached.  Server unusable until resolved.    All drives present and working prior to the update.

SAS expander don't have drivers, and if rolling back didn't fix it it's not a HBA driver/Unraid issue, besides you have two identical HBAs and both are being detected and initialized correctly, just one of them is not detecting any connected devices, this is a hardware issue, check connections from the HBA to the second expander, also check power on that expander.

I'm going to close this for now, if you need more help with this issue please use the general support forum.

P.S.: since you have identical HBAs and expanders it's easier to diagnose, e.g., swap HBA cables from one expander to the other, if same disks don't show it's likely an expander issue.
