    This is tenatively solved. Will check on this coming Saturday to see if the error comes up again. 

     

    edi: SOLVED on RC6, issue hasn't come up on RC7.

    For whatever length of time that you keep your Apache fixed, there won't be an issue. These are known adventures that programmers (for the most part through a botnet) are taking a stab at each IP on port 80. It isn't explicitly gone for your server, increasingly a 'fire voluntarily' assault, trusting somebody runs a more established adaptation of Apache which is known to be defenseless against such assaults.
