    • Solved Annoyance

I want to swap my cache disk with a larger one. therefore i need to move my cachedata to the array. I tried the steps below:

    1. Turn off vm and docker
    2. change cache usage of appdata from only to yes
    3. activate mover
    4. nothing happens

expected behaviour is that everything from the cache is moved to array, but nothing happens.

Did you stop and start the array after making that change?  Known issue (fixed next rev) where the use cache setting doesn't take effect without stopping and starting

You have other shares with files on cache, so those will also have to be set cache-yes to get them moved off cache. You can see this yourself by clicking Compute All on the User Shares page.
