Mover is not transferring new files to a new installed disk in the array

  • Solved

Hello,

I'm using the latest unRAID next version (6.10.0 rc-2), and after adding a new disk to the array, new files are not being written into that disk even if I have configured the 'Most-free' option as the allocation method. It was configured when I first built the array.

My current setting consists of a total of 4 disks for the array, the rest of the disks of my server are for pools.

The Disk 2, 3 and 4 (last added) are used by the multimedia server, Disk 1 is for other files.

I originally configured each of the multimedia server shares as 'Most-free', as I said before, and as I understand, unRAID will save new files to the most-free disk. So, in that case, I think that mover should be moving ALL new files to the Disk 4 ONLY, as it's the one with the biggest capacity right now. Is that correct? Or I'm not taking into account the 'Split level' setting also? Or maybe something else?

I have attached some pics to help you with what I wrote here.

Thank you.
