• No RTL8156* support

    From what I read, RTL8156 USB NICs were supported in the past with unraid, however if this is true it doesn't work now, as I just purchased one of these NICs and RC4 and RC5 don't have working drives for it. From what I see this should be in the mainline kernel since 5.13.

    You can try

    modprobe r8152

    and then see if the device is recognized.

    Thanks for the suggestion, seems it doesn't work. Which driver are you using @ParHelia? Perhaps this could be added to Unraid 6.10 stable if so.

    Looks like I am using driver v2.15.0 which is not even the latest one (2.16.1). 

    Careful, I have not checked whether it's even officially compatible with kernel 5.15.

    Minor = Something not working correctly.

     

    Urgent = Server crash, data loss, or other showstopper.

     

    Annoyance = Doesn't affect functionality but should be fixed.

     

    Other = Announcement or other non-issue.
