Unraid 7-beta1 - Not correctly identifying external drives

After updating to 7 beta all my external drives are unrecognized. Seems to no longer be reading the correct serial #'s off them to put them in correct array slot. When I revert back to 6.12.10 and all drives are correctly recognized and array starts with no issues. Does anyone know if stable release of 7 will have a fix for this? 

 

I know external drives are not ideal but I'm out of slots and rely on several drive bays for my unraid server (12 drives in external bay)... Any help would greatly be appreciated.
