Unraid 7.0.0 beta 2 - Reinstalling a disconnected drive will not automatically add it back to the zfs pool

  • Urgent

I was curious to test the resilience of zfs on this release. I unplugged a perfectly working drive from my pool, then plugged it back in my server only to discover that it is not automatically re-added into the pool. When taking the array offline in hopes of being able to manually re-add it into its respective slot, Unraid has the drive disabled and unavailable for use. I had to use the new config utility in order to be able to re-add the drive to the pool but this in turn resilvers the drive as if it were a replacement...during the resilver, I had a drive actually fail, nuking my data in the process lol (backup ftw). Would be lovely to be able to re-connect a perfectly working drive without this headache in the future.
