• unraid keyboard/IPMI not working with 6.7-rc2/3 [SOLVED}

    Greetings

    Issue:

    I'v been trying 6.7-rc2 and 6.7-rc3 and notice server USB keyboard does not work after UNRAID boots and shows a login prompt.   I know it's not the keyboard, it works find when in the BIOS setup.   Also the IPMI (iLO) remote control keyboard does not work either after UNRAID boots.

    Solution:

    Down graded back to version 6.6.  Attached USB keyboard and iPMI both function as expected.

    The "ENTER" key now does nothing after UNRAID boots up in normal/safe mode.  It used to refresh the login prompt when you hit enter in prior versions.  I mistook it for the system being hung and the keyboard was not working at all.

    You can enter the login name "root", the "ENTER" key works as normal.

    Don't have any Asrock boards, but IPMI works fine with Supermicro boards and v6.7, did you check for bios and/or BMC firmware updates?

    I don't have the same board, but am also running 6.7-rc3 with the same USB keyboard lock up issue. Using Corsair k65, cheapo dell usb and logitech k800 wireless with unifing dongle. Same problem on two systems, one built prod box, one test bare bones box. SSH and gui mode works fine, console does not.
