Upgrade from rc1 appears to have gone through without issue.

Well timed as I was just about to report the issue with dockers not updating!

It looks we have a small regression error. This is a plugin issue (resolved)

I'm not seeing any of this in syslog or the nginx error.log.  Should I be looking for these errors elsewhere?

    I am investigating.

Anyway it is harmless error and has no impact on the functioning of the system (GUI).

    Found it...

It comes from the Dynamix System Buttons plugin. Will issue an update for that (update available).

One nice improvement and maybe not so obvious, all pages load faster than before. Good job LT.

This is due to great suggestions by @ljm42 to add a directives into nginx config file to:

    • use gzip compression when returning css/js files to browser
    • tell browser to cache indefinitely all css/js files with specific version strings

I'am trying to update from RC1 to RC2 but the Tools/Update OS Section didn't come up with the new version. Update assistant doesn't show any errors. Am I missing something or do i have to downgrade to 6.5.3 first? On RC1 I had to call the docker "check for updates" manually by executing the dockerupdate.php. Is there a way to trigger the update manually?

Manually is by clicking the icon for it.  No other way than that.  Does the Update Assistant recognize that "Next Branch" is RC-2?

There's something weird going on with your system.  Go to Update OS, and then post your diagnostics.  It doesn't look like its getting to the internet at all.

something comes up in the browser from inside am VM on Unraid. Looks some sort of XML file with the download instructions. I will try the manual install. Will report back in a second.

Manual update passed without errors. Looks like everything is ok. Status from the Update dialog still shows "unknown"

I couldn't take the itch anymore so I updated from 6.5.3 to 6.6.0rc2.  Everything working like a charm.  Love the new logo and UI!  Docker containers all function and so is my Windows 10 gaming VM.  Not so much as a hiccup.  Logs look nice and clean too.

    Unraid is the best! :)

    I have updated my list.

Slackware slacks off on package updates, they are missing a bunch.

Some of the ones they are missing I think have CVE's or huge performance/bug fixes.

Not sure how you guys handle this, but having OLD packages years old isn't wise either.

Since people could be exploiting old revisions with unreleased CVE's.

Not trying to nag or complain. Just trying to give back to this awesome software!

Has anyone else commented on how large the new Orange buttons are?  In Chrome I have to zoom to 80% for them to appear at a normal size.  Definitely don't seem proportional the rest of the UI.

Post a screenshot. Button size is okay on my screen.

That page looks normal to me too, but not the MAIN page that has all my array information.  All the buttons under Array Operation and Shares seem huge compared to the text on that page.  Will post a screen shot shortly.
