Update from 7.2 beta 1 -> 7.2 beta 2 resulted in non-bootable USB

I performed the update from 7.2 beta 1 -> 7.2 beta 2. The update itself went fine but the USB was not bootable anymore.

I had to use another PC to run the make bootable batch file which fixed the issue.

Can it be checked why this is happening?

Perhaps a check can be implemented prior to reboot to make sure the USB drive is capable of booting?
