[6.10.1] failed to connect to the hypervisor after 6.10 upgrade

  • Solved

Hi,

Please help.

I started receiving the following error messages in the console after upgrading to 6.10 (further upgrade to 6.10.1 changed nothing):

error: failed to connect to the hypervisor
error: Operation not supported: Cannot use direct socket mode if no URI is set

TROUBLESHOOTING SO FAR:

  • I stopper the VMs and Docker - checked all paths and drives. All seems to be OK.
  • I deleted the VMs completely - no change.
  • I removed unneeded docker containers - no change. All containers seem to be running ok.
  • Checked the cache drives and shares - all OK.

Diagnostics file attached.
