[6.12.15] Network works for a few minutes after booting, then dies

  • Closed

I upgraded my Unraid OS from 6.12.10 (which was working fine) to 6.12.15.

The upgrade process proceeds normally, and I wait until all the plugins are updated before rebooting.

Once I reboot, everything works okay for the first few minutes.  I can access the WebGUI from another computer over the network.

About 3-5 minutes of uptime, the network card seems to be unresponsive.  I can no longer ping the Unraid machine from elsewhere on the network, like a Windows PC; and on the console of the Unraid OS, I cannot reach any other device on the Internet.

I downgraded back to 6.12.10 and everything seems to be okay.

On my first attempt, I did not have the Realtek driver plug-in, and this problem first occurred.

I later also tried downloading the Realtek driver plug-in under 6.12.10, then upgrading to 6.12.15, but the same problem occurred.

Since the Unraid machine did not have a network connection, I was not able to create a bug report from within the GUI.

Diagnostics attached.
