  • [6.12.4] UI causing drive spinup

    Loading the dashboard gui with vm's that have cdrom drives attached causes the drive holding iso to spinup.

    The vm does not need to be started and can be hidden using started only and it will still happen.

     

    Not really a bug but unnecessary annoyance. Story, i kept seeing my machine spin up a drive whenever i logged in, used inotifywait to check what was being accessed. Unmapped all iso from vms, no more drive spinup.

    Priority Definitions

     

    Minor = Something not working correctly.

     

    Urgent = Server crash, data loss, or other showstopper.

     

    Annoyance = Doesn't affect functionality but should be fixed.

     

    Other = Announcement or other non-issue.
