  • 6.8.3 - unable to check for versions/updates for all installed dockers

Edit: to fix this for 6.8.3, follow this solution: Link

    see also:

The docker UI page shows all dockers with "Version = unavailable" ....manual "check for updates" button has no effect.

Normal operation is not affected. though...all dockers and other services are working fine so far.

    Edit: problem has been identified:

...but AFAIU a fix needs manual intervention or an upgrade to 6.9.2, which I think is not a requirement, is it?

Did you try updating to v6.9.2 to see if there's any difference? 6.8.x won't be updated.

no, I did not...as there are still too many other bugs in 6.9.2 for my liking.

Then you'll need to wait, v6.8 will no longer be updated.

Hmpf...I still don't understand what/where the root cause of the problem lies. Outside of control of unraid / by an external party or something else?

Might be that Dockerhub changed the way the queries are made ?

...this is, as far as I am concerned, the correct explanation: Link
