when disabling the option to use TLS for the unraid server, the login screen no longer works on the http port and keeps redirecting to login screen even upon successful login.
The issue can be solved by re-enabling TLS or by using a reverse proxy to use https to access the web ui (even though it is forwarded to the http version)
