[7.2.1] Flash drive no longer bootable after udate frim 7.1.4 to 7.2.1

  • Minor

I had Unraid 7.1.4 successfully running on a Terramaster F6-424 Max (64 GB Terramaster RAM) with no problems. I have docker container for Jellyfin and Nextcloud AIO and a Tailscale plugin installed. I initiated an update to 7.2.1 from the GUI but the NAS never successfully rebooted. I plugged a monitor and keyboard into the NAS and on startup it reported that is was waiting for the Unraid boot drive to boot and then timed out. I shutdiwn the NAS and restarted it but the same error happened. I tried recreating the USB flash drive using the Unraid USB Creator (7.2.1) and had the exact same problem. I double checked the boot settings in the BIOS and they were correct (the flash drive was the first boot option and boot to TOS is disabled). I finally decided to try rolling back to 7.1.4 by using the Unraid USB creator and everything went back to normal. Normal boot and all arrays, caches, pools, containers, and plugin are normal. Is there a known problems generally with 7.2.1 or any known compatibility issues with 7.2.1 and Terramster hardware? I did not try 7.2.0. Thank you.
