Diagnostics Spins Up Drives but show down in Array

If you create diagnostics, when its collecting smart data spins up drives. Due to new fix for 6.9.1 it does not detect drives spinning up and shows as spun down on dash board/main.

 

Also will not spin drives down until spun up by another method that does real IO against the drive and poller will not run for those devices as array thinks already spun down.

 

Would also be nice if there is a way to spin drives from programs/scripts as per the old mdcmd spinup process.  Could be added to sdspin to notify GUI of change of state?
