no Hdd discovery

After the update to 7.2.3 it re booted and 3 out of my 4 hdds were not discoverable. all was working fine all green when i updated from 7.1.4. The array couldn't start as not enough disks. i haven't touched or moved anything. just reverted back to 7.1.4 and all hdds working fine.
