I haven't had connect installed since the white header flashing issue, BUT i did upgrade to 7.2.2 tonight and now my notification slide out is light mode with darkmode text to not readable. Have cleared cookies, temp internet files, etc. also tried 3 browsers. Edge, Chrome, and DuckDuckGo. My webui is set to Dynamix Black theme, so the text is respecting it, just not the background, which is similar to the last header bug. I'm guessing based on the amount of darkmode issues i see myself, and ot

Hi All, For some few months, I noticed when pulling dockers from app center, the UI becomes unresponsive, especially pulling a large image, The UI totally got unusable. Note that my dockers and VMs are still running fine and remain responsive. I don't know if it is a coincidence. I attach my diagnostics file. Should you have any further questions to help me, please let me know! tower-diagnostics-20240327-2218.zip

I updated from 7.2.2 to 7.2.3 a few minutes ago and now a disk which worked flawlessly before is shown as replacement (disk4, 16TB WD) together with the information that the data will be deleted if I start the array. What can I do to solve this problem or to correct manually which drive is part of the array? Diagnostic files are attached. srvunraid01-diagnostics-20251219-1001.zip

After upgrade to 7.2.0, static DNS reverts to 10.42.42.251 in /etc/resolv.conf periodically (at least daily, usually after a few hours and on every boot). The setting does not change in the GUI. If I go to the DNS settings and change "IPv4 DNS server 1" to anything else and change it back, it gets updated but then reverts back to 10.42.42.251 after a few hours. The behavior persists in 7.2.1 I tried creating a NEW trial install of 7.2.0 with no additional configuration on another USB stick and

Sometimes when opening the logs or console of a docker container via the Button in the Web UI or opening the normal system console over the Web UI, the Pop Up says "502 Gateway Error". Closing and trying again fixes this Problem. The Problem also doesn't appear every time but just sometime. In the System Log I can see one entry for this Error (sensitive information replaced): Jan 29 18:11:26 <Server-Name> nginx: 2025/01/29 18:11:26 [crit] 2977574#2977574: *3114356 con

Hi there, i need help, it seems that the server kept rebooting (every few hours) on its own after upgrading to 7.2.2. Is there a way to fix this? I have since downgraded to 7.2 and has been stable so far. rxnas01-diagnostics-20251210_1637.zip

Unraid's built in file manager cannot handle special characters in directory names safely. Through a bad docker configuration I ended up with a quoted version of a folder in my share. For example, I had the folders data and "data" in the same share. Deleting this unnecessary folder with quotes through the built-in file manager deleted the original data folder, leaving the unwanted "data" untouched. Quotes in directories are of course not a commonly allowed character, but as a result of the

We upgraded from 7.0 to 7.2.2 this week.. The initial issues appears to be that on our network,(this was the smb/nsf user shares) users were randomly working or not, the smb administrator account lost all access... we were left scratching our heads. We were also changing to an upgraded smart switch at the time. After reading and researching this we found the error next to the done button, character case of the cfg file names...... after of course spending a few hours looking at our network co

I use unRAID 7.2.2 and discovered an issue with transcoding a video with Emby server (in a docker) to Emby for Android/Emby vor Android TV. After a while the playback stops. This happens when QSV (Quicksync) is activated. When I deactivate it in Emby and only use VAAPI this will not happen. So far I understand this was an issue with older kernel versions used by unRAID, but shouldn't be an issue with 7.x.x. The Emby log looks like this, when the issue occurs: 20:54:26.110 [hevc_qsv @ 0x11aebc

Hi, I want to report an issue with either Unraid 7.2 and/or Nvidia drivers plugin when updating to 580.105.05. Hi all, I've lost one of my user shares, mine, (rest of shares seem fine),.. I think following an upgrade to 7.2.2, although I can't be 100% certain. Only recent change was the upgrade about a week ago and noticed it gone today. Apologies up front if this has been raised in the wrong place. I can't recall the exact version I upgraded from,.. but it would have been 7.something,.. to currently running 7.2.2. Looking around, there's no definition within /etc/samba/smb-shares.conf for me. Summary: After updating to Unraid 7.2, containers such as Nextcloud intermittently lose write access — uploads via web UI or sync clients fail. The issue appears to affect other containers as well and seems related to ZFS mounts becoming unavailable. Workaround: Execute zfs mount -a manually or via a scheduled user script (e.g. hourly cron) to restore write functionality. The issue is currently being discussed here:

Tonight I went to reboot one of my servers and couldn't figure out why it was waiting. There was a scrub running on the zfs cache pool (the only pool, no array). Depending on the array, this guarantees exceeding the graceful shutdown timeout. Rebooting should cancel scrubs.

I'm running unRAID 7 but it was already in unRAID 6 a problem. In the Docker GUI I add an environment variable. When this variable includes < or > and I press the apply button they are deleted in the from unRAID created docker run command. I have multiple tools where I have to set a DEFAULT_MAIL and want to use the mailbox format like Sender <[email protected]>. This bug makes it impossible to configure this Docker container.

Upgrade USB stick to both 7.2.0 and 7.2.2. Both lead to a boot loop. Mac starts, I see the device temporarily in my network (router GUI), but not pingable. Ideas - someone with a similar behavior or problem?

Since the release of 7.1.0 earlier in the year, I had been holding off updating my Unraid install because every time I did I encountered a network issue with the eth0 interface. In fact, my NAS is currently experiencing the issue and the only way I can access it is either locally or through WiFi (neither of which is really a sustainable option). This seems to be affecting all versions post 7.0.1. Here is what happens from a user perspective: When I start the server, it can briefly (about 10-15

When attempting to pass a GPU to a VM I discovered that "PCI Devices and IOMMU Groups" never populates, it sticks at loading the page after all the other categories populate. IOMMU groups are visible via the CLI but never load in the GUI. tower-diagnostics-20251207-1036.zip

When choosing the Black Dynamix color theme, the Notifications slide-out text is not a contrasting color (almost impossible to read for me). It appears to be a Chromium issue, but I wanted to pass it along anyway. Screen Recording 2025-12-07 at 9.07.09 AM.mov
