Static DNS reverts to 10.42.42.251

After upgrade to 7.2.0, static DNS reverts to 10.42.42.251 in /etc/resolv.conf periodically (at least daily, usually after a few hours and on every boot). The setting does not change in the GUI. If I go to the DNS settings and change "IPv4 DNS server 1" to anything else and change it back, it gets updated but then reverts back to 10.42.42.251 after a few hours.

The behavior persists in 7.2.1

I tried creating a NEW trial install of 7.2.0 with no additional configuration on another USB stick and it exhibits the same problem.
