VM - usb passthrough issues

So I have a Home Assistant VM with ZHA. I have a Sonoff Zigbee Dongle.

 

If I plug the dongle into a usb extension cable and boot, all works fine 100%.

 

If I plug the dongle into the exact same port on the mobo, it recognizes the dongle in the VM, but does not pass info. No devices can connect, no data flows in.

 

Other USB ports do the exact same thing. And yes, they are all USB 3.0 and so is the extension.

 

Another issue I can see is it will sometimes connect with Hotplug only once the VM has completely started.

 

Ideas how to fix this? Don't even know why this would be happening?

 

I've tried this on 6.9.2 and 6.10rc4.

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
