  1. The Active Directory setting is not being considered by UD as SMB being enabled. I'll issue an update later that should enable sharing with Active Directory sharing and you can see if it works.

  2. Enabling user shares and changing allocation method, free space, split levels, etc or other settings will not move any data. The settings will apply to data stored in the shares moving forward. It's a good idea to look at the help on these settings before deciding what is best for you. If you wish to move things around, you may want to look into the unBalance plugin.

  3. Why would these disks not be in the Unraid array? I don't understand your question. If your array only consists of a single SSD with no parity then cache is pretty meaningless and can't possibly have any effect. Sounds like you don't really have any idea what cache is.

  4. You could install the preclear plugin and run one or more preclear cycles on it. The plugin works only on unassigned drives which is what I think you are looking for.

  5. The current version (2018.10.7) is compatible with the current Unraid (6.6.5). I've run it on three disks (not simultaneously) recently, without any problems. I had given up on it when it started spamming the syslog and I was using badblocks to test disks instead but when the author started maintaining it again I decided to give it another chance and currently it works just fine. I don't like the statistics reporting part but at least that's optional.

  6. You can type 'k10temp' manually, then click Save, then Load drivers. Worth a try?
