  2. qemu 3.1.0 with aforementioned patch will be available starting with 6.7.0-rc4.

  3. We could reproduce this specific issue and verify fixed, but the change made might solve some other performance issues as well.

  4. BTW, also tested on Arch Linux with kernel 4.20, latest mpt3sas v26.100.00.00, no change.

  6. I'm not sure if this is a Manjaro issue or something I'm not setting up correctly in the VM settings, but every edition of Manjaro 16.10.3 that I've tried to make a VM of reacts the same way. Some bootup text with many [OK]s, but ultimately stopping at a black screen with a white blinking cursor in the top left corner of the screen. The install grub never even shows up, so I'm never even prompted to do anything. I've tried installing with 5 different editions on two separate machines, using different VM machines, and different core assignments, all with the same result. Googling found some other people with similar issues dating a few years back, but those solutions do not seem viable in the context of a VM. I'm curious if anyone else has had any issues installing Manjaro into their unRAID VMs? If so, did you have to use specific machine settings to get it to work? Is anyone else seeing the same issues I am? Additional information, I have not had any issues installing various other Linux distros using the same VM settings (ARCH default template with additional cores and memory). I've also properly installed other Arch based distros such as Antergos and Apricity with no issues. Whatever is causing it only seems to be related specifically to Manjaro.

  7. Hi Guys been thinking about how to get sonarr and radarr to auto re-encode downloads automatically using handbrake. There will be 2 parts to this and i will post the next under this one in a few days time. This video the first part shows how to automatically re-encode video files downloaded by sonarr or radarr using an advanced docker path mapping sending the media files through handbrake first before then being processed by sonarr/radarr. I use h265 as i want smaller video files but any format can be choosen. This first part goes through the principles of how this works. The second video will go deeper using detailed examples. It is recommended to watch this video first. PART ONE PART 2

  9. Slow writing to encrypted xfs seem to be solved. Great work! Thanks!

  10. Looks like you have 2 data, 1 parity disk, with md_write_method set to "reconstruct write". That means you should get fairly close to speed of disks with sustained write. Not sure what's happening in those 'dips', could be a number of things. Maybe interesting to compare to 6.6.6 release, but I think this Bug Report is "solved", agreed?

  12. I knew I read it somewhere about the + but I forgot to unmount - makes perfectly sense of course.. Thanks for the other questions being answers @jpotrz, @dlandon

  13. I'm pretty sure when you're in the main tab, with the UD unmounted, you can click on it and rename. I know I've given mine "friendly names"

  14. Click the + by the device ID and hover your mouse over the mount point. Only if you want to browse it. Go to Settings->Unassigned Devices and set the SMB security. Yes. VMs will shutdown before UD unmounts the disk.

  18. Simply out of curiosity, I had concluded with the same end result late yesterday afternoon. As my setup was a undesirable hardware approach to verify/validate, I appreciate your similar results.

  19. it was at the time the video was created, not the case for a while now (see comments under the video), also note i have FINALLY found a way to programmatically get a list of PIA port forward enabled endpoints, so if you now check the /config/supervisord.log file you will see i spit out a list which is automatically generated, so check that for the most up to date list. you are misunderstanding the use of privoxy, see Q3 from the link below:- https://forums.unraid.net/topic/44108-support-binhex-general/?tab=comments#comment-433613 edit - sorry @jonathanm looks like we posted at the same time 🙂

  20. That video is some months old. That's why I pointed you to the post I did, it has a link to the list of supported endpoints. If you would have read the link, it would have saved you some time. I'm not sure what you mean by proxy config within deluge. Once you can see the webGUI with the vpn enabled set to yes, you are good to go.

  21. Regarding bastl issues, we identified a couple of issues with the plugin. I'm making some adjustments that should be ready soon, most likely will wait for 6.7.x stable to release a new plugin version.

  22. Disable spindowns in Settings - Disk Settings. SAS drives can't be spun down and are generating the errors you're seeing.

  24. The older color icons should have been public domain, but some may not have been. LT is smart in developing their own and using them with granted permission. This is a lot cleaner from a legal standpoint. Imagine a forced redesign because of some lawyer trying to get royalties for an ownership claim on an icon, plus legal costs. All of you complaining about the design choices need to remember this is a nas with some awesome additional features. It is not mission critical. You manage your storage, VMs, Dockers etc. The color of the icons doesn’t make or break it. If you have an idea for a better look, make the suggestion to LT and then accept their decision.

  25. Just an FYI for everyone who has an NVIDIA GPU. The Linuxserver I/O docker for NVIDIA cards will support H/W Transcoding in Jellyfin (just like it does in Emby without the PAID subscription model) Got it up and running a few hours ago and tested out two concurrent streams on my 1050ti

  27. Your router leased 192.168.1.5 to br0 not to eth0. Do you have bridging enabled for eth0 in Settings --> Network? What does ifconfig show for br0?

  28. It's easy for us to get overwhelmed by new issues, especially coinciding with new features and new kernel releases. Our lack of immediate reply does not mean your report is being ignored. We very much appreciate all hints, testing results, etc. Remember, for very odd issues, please reboot in "Safe Mode" to ensure no strange interaction with a plugin.

  29. If you have not done so already, familiarize yourself with the case mods mentioned in this CS380 thread. They make a big impact on overall disk and case cooling.

  31. Hi Folks, I've also got this case and had another idea re cooling the HDDs. What would happen if I also close off the HDD cage on the right hand side with duct-tape, so no hot air could escape to the area below the mainboard (right hand section between mainboard and side panel). As I have blocked off the back of the cage and the side, the only way out for the hot air (with high air pressure) would be to the front (or back to the fans plus anything leaking). I know it's blocked by the trays, but it might be enough to make a difference? Just an idea..

  32. I also had the problem, that Origin dosen't want to download the games on a Network Share. After lots of trying i found the reson why. Origin has a service called "Origin Client Service" which is required to download a Game. This service is executed under the SYSTEM user account, which doesn't know of your Network Share mappings. The easiest way to solve this is to disable the service. Now Origin cannot start the service and runs the Executable as Administrator of your User. To allow the Programs, which run as administrator, to see the Network Share you have to follow these instructions: https://technet.microsoft.com/de-de/library/ee844140(v=ws.10).aspx. You culd also map the Network Share in the SYSTEM user but this is generally not a good idea, because then the SYSTEM user could be atacked throu that share. Also running the service under your user has the drawback that origin would not work in multi-user environments. My solution has the drawback that Origin prompts you with an UAC for the first download after Origin started. Here the detailed steps to realize my solution: 1. type services.msc in to the Search field and open Services 2. Search for "Origin Client Host" in the list and duble click it 3. set the Startup type to disabled 4. Click OK and close the Services window 5. type regedit in to the search field and open the entry regedit 6. Locate and then right-click the registry subkey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System. 7. Point to New, and then click DWORD Value. 8. Type EnableLinkedConnections, and then press ENTER. 9. Right-click EnableLinkedConnections, and then click Modify. 10. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK. 11. Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer. 12. Now Origin should be able to to download to the set installation-path even if it is a network share
