  1. This was resolved by Asrock. They have a tool available via support. Thanks for all the suggestions. Helps when I am not the only one seeing these issues.

  2. Just be aware that you should never move data from disk shares to user shares and vice-versa, you can move from user shares to user shares and disk shares to disk shares.

  4. I haven't in the past (as of now all my spinning discs are in an external custom jbod enclosure), but I also have the aux fan in the bottom for pcie cards and I'm liquid cooled, inside a sound dampened acoustic rack with directed air flow... so that may also play into my temps.

  5. Unraid is pretty flexible for it's output display. I don't think the 2000 will be a problem. Once you have everything setup, there are ways to then only have 1 gpu in the system for your vm so you don't waste any pcie slots. As long a you don't mind only having web gui access to Unraid (I have a z420 as well and this is how I use mine with a single gtx 1060 in it.)

  6. There are many possible, may be single or multiple. If shorter 8087-8087 cable available soon, just waiting it for testing. If suspect HBA problem, could you use reverse 8087-SATA cable to connect BP to MB for test. ( you already have ) If suspect BP problem, could you use stright 8087-SATA cable to connect HBA to HDD. So two different kind cable could help troubleshoot most parts, I always have that and ready for test need. All my HBA, Expander, 10GNIC, SAS cable .... come from china, may be fake, old pull whatever .... just well test would be fine. Usually they are new, I won't expect it is orginal as this price. Test plan also importance, to avoid loopping ( I think you in that ), you may need divide whole system in small part, i.e. test HBA, test 1st BP, test 4 HDD ...... and may not only use Unraid for shooting, the main goal was as fast as found out the failure point.

  8. 1) Yes, 760p suffering from the bug. 2) I have installed windows 10 directly on the NVME and it works perfectly. Unfortunately the only way to make it work with windows is to patch kernel since XML solution does not really work or buy another drive. This workaround works fine with linux guests but I was not be able to make it work with windows.

  9. Thanks! I changed my values to manual in my BIOS. I had the same voltage that Jay was having at "stock" settings. On an other topic, I contacted the person doing the asus-wmi-sensors project on GitHub. This is a project so linux can read the sensors. I wonder if that could be integrated into the CA System Temp plugin when i'll have it working !

  10. better storage setup ability to add more nifty things via docker ability to run more vm's including a firewall your coolness factor increases by a factor of 5 virtual 10gbe connection to server from windows vm vs buying 10gbe hardware. ability to divide resources and not waste them if someone watches plex while you're gaming on a standalone computer, your game can suffer vs on unraid you can isolate them from each other did i mention your coolness factor increases by a factor of 5?

  11. Yes It is that simple. Personally, I'm a fan however setting static IP's within the router and keeping all the computers set to DHCP, but the end result is the same
