  1. Hey guys, in case you're wondering, the troll has been vanquished and all posts relating to his content have been bilged. In other words:

  2. Hi everyone! My wife and I are building our first server! Here are the parts: Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X470-F CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700X GPU: EVGA Nvidia 1660Ti XC Ultra CPU cooler: CoolerMaster ML240L AIO Case: Fractal Design Define R6 Storage: 1x 512 Gb Intel NVME M.2 SSD, 2x 500 Gb Samsung 680 Evo SSD, 4x 4 Tb Seagate IronWolf NAS hard drives Power supply: 1000W EVGA G+ Planning on using as a NAS (for our side gig laser cutting/engraving business), Plex Media Server, and Windows VM for light workloads or gaming if we have a friend over (we already have another dedicated gaming PC). My dad suggested VMWare when we first told him we were setting up a server (he's an IT professional and uses VMWare for his home server) but to our eyes it looked like VMWare has somewhat limited hardware compatibility. I found Unraid from the Linus Tech Tips videos about it and am giving it a shot! It seems to be a very flexible and user friendly platform, so for a first timer, this will be a huge plus. Wanted some feedback from you all! Do you have any useful tips for getting set up for a first timer? What are some of your must-have or favorite applications (I think they're called dockers here?) and other cool stuff you do on your Unraid machines. Thanks everyone in advance and I'm looking forward to joining what looks like an awesome community!

  3. Thanks - would you mind sharing your docker settings please? I ended up installing Hassio in a VM today and I managed to connect to my Android TVs using the hassio adb server, but I need to work out how to trace the states

  5. Code server is hosting their own marketplace because the licenses prevent them from accessing the official Microsoft marketplace. There may be some issues with some of the extensions. You should report them to code server on github. Especially on v2, the development tag of this image, many extensions are not yet working.

  6. I use this as I had issues with Plex transcoding audio to Chromecast (or the lack thereof). I found that I had a bunch of videos that would not play or would play rediculously slow because the Chromecast could not handle them. They were either DD or DTS surround sound audio tracks. Plex was not transcoding the audio as the Chromecast was "compatible". I found that re-encoding the audio tracks fix 100% of the issues. I also found that there were heaps of occasions where I did not need the surround sound audio. I'm pretty sure Plex does not modify the audio streams when you select quality unless the player cannot support it. I personally just found it easier to have the stereo stream available. Also, keep in mind, not everyone can afford to have Plex setup to do on-the-fly transcoding. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6000 using Tapatalk

  7. I had the same problem : corruption in both radarr and sonarr in 6.7.2. I tried to move my appdata dir to the cache but the corruption would happen nevertheless, so I rolled back to 6.6.7. Then I also moved my system share to the cache (containing docker and libvirt). My docker img was damaged so I deleted it and created a new one. Then I updated to 6.7.2. That was 3 weeks ago and I never had a db corruption ever since, so the problem seems fixed for me. I hope that helps.

  8. The issue with the settings pages not redirecting is known. It works fine in Firefox for anyone willing to switch from chrome to a superior web browser... [emoji14] I'll fix it after the next release. For now just click back or something (or switch to Firefox). Sent from my ONEPLUS A6000 using Tapatalk

  11. Awesome. I appreciate the gesture, but I won't be taking donations for this application any time soon. I would prefer that if you feel a need to contribute, you do so by reporting bugs (as you have) and by helping others here in the forums. And of course, if you can code, pull requests on GitHub are also welcome. Cheers. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6000 using Tapatalk

  12. The fix is to install the CA Auto Update plugin, and this works fine (or, hasn't had any problems I've read about in this thread), and then rescan for docker updates to flush things through. Note, this isn't the Community Applications plugin, but the CA Auto Update plugin. 6.8 is not available yet (unless you know something I don't).

  13. Please put it in your serverfolder into /share/games/openttd.cfg (you must create it). (The full path inside the docker is /serverdata/serverfiles/share/games/openttd.cfg the full path in unraid is /mnt/user/appdata/openttd/share/games/openttd.cfg)

  14. You can SSH into the unraid server and use cd /mnt/user/appdata/OpenTTD to get to the config files. I'll let someone else answer to the specific location in that folder where the "OpenTTD.cfg" file is located.

  15. You can, as long as it's a regular HBA, no RAID.

  16. loop2 is your docker.img Easiest, pain free solution is to stop the docker service (settings) delete the image (advanced view) re-enable the service, then check off all your apps via Apps - Previous Apps section and hit install. Couple of minutes later you're back in business Probably caused by unclean shutdowns.
