  1. Hey guys. I am hard at work in version 1.3 (bug fixes mostly). But I did come across something pretty interesting. There is a way to make drive order/mapping permanent by using the serial number of the drive. You have to add the following path to the Telegraf docker. Then Edit telegraf.conf > [[inputs.diskio]] > Add device_tags = ["ID_SERIAL"] > Use ID_SERIAL Flag is Grafana This means that upon booting, you don't have to worry about SD* changing, and you could override the serial number with "DISK01" etc. So the serials would never show unless you want them to. I will test and report back.

  2. Hi When I go into my DOCKER tab all my dockers are listed as VERSION "not available"; Does anyone else have this, or know how to fix it? The only work around I have found is to switch to advanced view and run "force update"... this then shows that the latest version is installed. But soon after, if I go back into DOCKERs it shows "not available" again. I have two HP servers and this persistent annoyance only happens on one! Any pointers? Thanks

  3. Having had a few flashdrives fail over the years and all reviews i see online regarding flash drives seem to only care about speed, size and price I thought i would test 27 flash drives to find the most reliable one that i could.

  5. But I am going to tell you that domains and system shares should stay on cache.

  6. For this reason, I've updated my workflow from [Scan to PDF] -> [ocrmypdf-auto] -> [paperless]. In the paperless log, it skips ocr because it recognizes text in the PDF. You get the best of both worlds because it still loads in the text in paperless for correspondents and tags. So far so good.

  7. Hi Guys So I’ve finally started using rclone mount again after several years with only doing weekly scripted backups. This prompted me to give the plugin a bit of an overhaul to fix some of my own long-standing nuisances with the plugin. Gone are the default scripts and the script editor (You should really use UserScripts for all your script needs). The config file can still be edited. The settings page has been overhauled and i intend to deprecate the beta branch of the plugin for this new unified model. You are now able to change branch at will in the settings page as well as update rclone if a new version is available. Current version as well as newest version will now be shown in the settings page. If you want to check it out you can install/update the plugin manually by inserting THIS URL in the plugins/install plugin settings menu. It's a drop in replacement for the stable branch. Whenever this version has proven itself without any major bugs i will merge it with the master branch and deprecate the beta branch. @Stupifier @DZMM if you get the chance please test out the new version and see if there's any glaring bugs I’ve missed. Edit: A picture to show the new settings page

  8. Fixed one typo but forgot the other. I'll fix when I get home. Until then you can run this to fix. sed -i 's/impitemps/ipmitemps/g' /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ipmi/IPMIButton.page

  9. @testdasi Now it's simple enough for me. It works very fine. Thank you for your great support and your efforts!

  10. @Toskache, @FlippinTurt: CA has updated the latest template. Give that another try.

  11. I do not have any patches enabled. I have the Topology patch and VMM flag patch in my config but they are set to false.

  12. Firstly, you picked "bridge" network. That will never work because Unraid sits on port 53, which is required for DNS lookup. You should pick br0 or br1 (i.e. the Unraid macvlan bridge. If you don't see br0/br1 option, go to Settings -> Dockers to enable it, you might have to disable docker for the option to show up). Secondly, your port mappings are off. The 5 ports should be 53tcp 53udp 67 80 443. That probably was because of the bridge network mappings getting carried over. The server IP should be the static IP you assign to the docker, not the IP of your Unraid server. I made some changes to the template to make things clearer. I would suggest to uninstall the docker for now, wait about 2 hours for CA to pick up the change and reinstall. If you see "YOU MUST ASSIGN A STATIC IP TO THE DOCKER FOR PIHOLE TO WORK." in the description, that's the new template version. Hmm... same advice as above. Uninstall the docker and wait till you see "YOU MUST ASSIGN A STATIC IP TO THE DOCKER FOR PIHOLE TO WORK." in description (i.e. new version of the template was loaded to CA) and reinstall from CA template i.e. don't reuse your old template. It runs fine on my server so I'm guessing the template was the issue.

  13. you dont need to do anything, as long as you dont port forward the web ui on your router then it will not be accessible outside of your lan.

  14. Ahhhh. Yeah, I'll get that updated. I also found those 4 hard coded host names of "MassEffect". They somehow were in panels I turned into banners. So they were hidden. I just find and replaced them with $telegrafdatasource in the JSON and re-imported.

  17. Error corrected, they changed something I think. Please update the container manually (switch on advanced view on the docker page and click force update) or delete the container and redownload it from the CA App. Here is a complete startup log from the updated container: Barotrauma.log

  18. Oops, my bad, I completely misunderstood. No, there is no backplate like that. Here is the backside of the MB with the Noctua plate installed - sorry about the flash glare but it is dark back there

  20. What if you SSH into the server and restart the Xorg display service instead of having to reboot? There are some talks about HDMI dongles in this thread.

  21. @johnny2678, I was able to get it working - You don't mention whether you are on the Beta Unraid. You need to be on the 6.9.0 beta to have /dev/dri show up with the 10th gen CPUs.... Assuming you are, here's what I'm running with, which is just a little diff from what you have. Go file: #!/bin/bash #enable module for iGPU and perms for the render device modprobe i915 sleep 4 chown -R nobody:users /dev/dri chmod -R 777 /dev/dri # Start the Management Utility /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & Syslinux pertinant line (I only have this setup for regular boot, non gui mode, but shouldn't matter) append kvm-intel.nested=1 pcie_acs_override=downstream,multifunction initrd=/bzroot You don't need the "i915.alpha_support=1" - although it shouldn't make a difference either way. For bios - try also plugging in a monitor if you haven't already, and turning that on prior to boot.... Just another thing you can try. Edit: added full Go file, to avoid confusion

  22. OK, I have been reading posts for 2 hours now and dont see where or what i messed up. I have DDNS setup with a new url just for wireguard. i use pihole and did input my pihole LAN IP in the config. I have tested on my phone(cell network) and my laptop(on cell hotspot-cell network) both seem to connect fine, but nothing loads (public sites nor LAN sites). I notice in the client log(both on windows/laptop and android app) that its sending the handshake attempt multiple times. i see on the unraid dashbaord that there is no handshake. I can post screen shots as needed and would love to use this instead of openVPN. Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

  23. Nope, i forked the repository and updated the version. (To use my version) edit your docker and change your repository to flubster/gsdock and it'll pull my updated version You'll need to add the mapping i stated above as i haven't created any UnRAID template, just pushed another docker image. YMMV. Be careful as I started from scratch (after pulling the initial image from the template) so haven't tried any upgrades etc Rubberbandboy

  24. So for the whole month of August I would have been billed £0.44 + TAX (~ £0.53 = $0.71) but this is obviously more than covered by the $250 trial credit. Obviously the hit is if you ever want to download your files but as a true backup / DR solution this seems to be a simple and cheap option.

  25. You are making multiple assumptions that don't really matter. If someone wants cloud backup then that's the only conversation. 1) What if you have no family members? 2) What if you have family without internet access? 3) How do you ensure that the backup drive will always be plugged in, turned on, and accessible? 4) How do you ensure network connectivity, router ports, firewall access, etc so that #3 applies? The list goes on. Sure it's an offsite backup if you can make everything work but that's not what is being talked about. If you want cloud storage (which has access, redundancy, security, etc) you expect that there will be a recurring cost.. it doesn't matter if there are cheaper ways to do it.

  26. Hello, I was hoping to use this to replace ocrmypdf-auto. But it looks like the OCR output is put into a database rather than re-encoded(?) inline within the document. Is there a switch or flag I can set to change this? I would like my PDF files to also have selectable text after OCR finishes, and other previous options I have used let me do this. Thanks!

  27. Stop the container. Very important. A running container will probably delete all your Dropbox files. Open the terminal to Unraid >_ on the upper right of your screen. run root@tower:~# rm -r /mnt/user/appdata/dropbox /mnt/user/Dropbox this will nuke Dropbox share (which will be regenerated when the container is started up) and the appdata for the Dropbox container When you restart the container, it will run from scratch, so you will need to link it again. Warning, this might cause you to go over the 3 devices limit for Free accounts, so make sure to go your Dropbox account and unlink the previous container. It will be a linux client with a hexadecimal name like abc12458efd
