  4. not afaik edit - im my opinion a better way to handle this is with supervisor restarting the process if it crashes/stops, it can do this and is a more elegant solution than forcing a restart of the container edit2 - just checked and it is indeed set to autorestart if it crashes/stops, so the user should be all set.

  5. You can assign or not assign any disks in any order with New Config. If you assign any disk to any parity slot, that disk will be overwritten with parity. Nothing else about any of your settings are affected.

  7. Just thought I'd share my experience setting up a Valheim server with this docker app from @ich777(thank you!) You don't need to worry about Steam authentication for Valheim, the default anonymous user can download and host a server (yay!), so no fuss with Steam users or Steam Guard to worry about. Deploy the docker as provided, leaving username & password blank. The Server Name field is important, this is how your name will appear in the public server list in Valheim. (as of this writing there are 7 "Valheim Docker" server names, good luck finding yours! So c

  9. Hi i am in process of setting up a dual Epyc 7401 and i was wondering if i had to use ecc memory. The motherboard I am using is the supermicro H11DSI-NT rev2.0 I plan to use 2 WD Red nvme disks for cache drives and for storage 1 wd purple if i can get away with it or 2 if i have to and 4 or more nas suitable drives. Also out of curiosity do the cache drives count as part of the quota towards the license?

  15. Have you deleted the old world in the first place? Eventually try to rename the new world into the default name from the server or you can at least try to create a new container with the corresponding world name and then replace the world. But keep in mind if you transfering it from a client or server that is on windows this could lead to problems, had that a couple of times with other game servers. I have to try it on my own if you have no success, please report back.

  29. Install the nVidia driver plugin? Also, while not much comfort, at least there is very little reason (other than the odd piece of management) for you to actually use the webGUI of Unraid. Pretty much you should be utilizing another system to interact with the GUI.

  30. As I mentioned in a previous post, we're currently completely overhauling Ferdi-server and combing the Docker image into the main Ferdi-server repo, while also updating much of the underlying infrastructure. As a result, the Ferdi-server docker container will likely function significantly differently in the future, so I an not able to troubleshoot any problems that are arising from the current configuration. I will however update this post as soon as we push the new Docker image and address any issues that may arise then. We'll aim to make sure that the password reset function is fixed during

  32. As jonathanm said you can't use an internal network ip (192.168.1.10) as a dns forward ip.. every single person on the internet, in the entire world, could have their own devices on 192.168.1.10 .. so how would it forward to you? Set your router's DHCP settings to have Unraid use a static ip (set the mac address of your Unraid motherboard/network card) to 192.168.10.1 or whatever you want. Then use DuckDNS to forward your domain to your PUBLIC IP address -- which always routes to you. Access to services is directed by your router's open ports and/or reverse proxy...

  33. Private IP's can not normally be mapped to a domain. If your private IP is changing, you need to fix that by configuring your router's DHCP to give Unraid the same IP every time.

  35. Hello, long time no see. I am truly sorry to see so many of you have had an issue with this plugin, and it was not my intention to abandon it for as long as I have. Sadly, life had other plans (as it often does). I've recently found myself with time to tinker again, and as such I've released an update that does a few things to try and address some of the issues I am aware of. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to replicate many of the issues others are having, so my ability to test has been limited. I also can see that the operation of some of the advanced functions isn't imme

There is a key combination you need to press when booting your system. After powering on the boot splash screen will display the ASRock Rack image and the message “Updating FRU system devices”. When you see "Updating FRU system devices" press ctrl+alt+F3 and it will load the BIOS menu. In BIOS menu, you will see an additional page labeled IntelRC Chipset. Select System Agent (SA) Configuration, then Graphics Configuration,

  38. I know its a completely different thing, but..... I would really love to see a cut down version of unraid for arm without support for vms. With that we could build power efficient backup servers and maybe even offload some containers from the main server. *Thinking about the rpi cm4*

  40. Hi, I have the same probs with that. Unraid 6.8.3. All Vm´s that switched from or to GPU Passthrough to VNC back have the problems. I find out that after switching the Grafik output the "bus" from 0x00 chnaged to 0x07. With these settings the vms dosen´t work. After change the bus back to 0x00 the vm works fine. If the bus 0x00 is occupied, change the slot to 2 or 3. Sorry for my bad english :-) <model type='qxl' ram='65536' vram='65536' vgamem='16384' heads='1' primary='yes'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x01' function='0x0'/>

  41. Marking this solved. So for those who are reading this with possible similar issues here was what the problem was. High I/O wait as shown here in glances caused the GUI to spit out a higher cpu use then htop or top showed. The cause of this was an external plex box I built for using quicksync hardware transcoding which was attached to the unRaid box via NFS which was doing library scans and thumbnail generation sucking up a ton of bandwidth (like 6/800 mbps) and that was causing the I/O delays. So apparently the GUI reads I/O wait as CPU use in some cases. I found thi

Other containers like Sonarr, Radarr, etc... can see this container and connect to it since they are also on br0 and have a static ip address assigned like the DelugeVPN container. If I change this container to Bridge Network type I can connect to the WebUI without a problem. However, I would like to use this with a static IP address for the container. Also, I proxy my browser traffic through this container using the bu

  44. ok, figured a solution for me, just in case someone else needs an tip 1st, make a backup of your vdisk file ... just in case in windows 10 (1703+) there a new tool added, mbr2gpt so, i used powershell in admin mode mbr2gpt /validate /allowFullOS <-- if ok then mbr2gpt /convert /disk:0 /allowFullOS now your win10 VM disk is prepared for EFI boot,.shut the VM down. create a new win10 VM with your same settings (exept use OVMF instead seabios), pointing to your existing and edited vdisk1.img (or whatever name it has)

  45. I did this recently when toying around. Think you just click on the vm 'name', this will give you a dropdown of the disks and iso images contained in the vm, then click on the vdisk size entry itself, in your case the 40G figure, and voila you'll be given an edit option to change the size. Not sure if thats the 'official' way to extend the size but it certainlty worked.
