3. @alex0407 Thanks! I ultimately ended up switching to SABnzbd after trying a few more avenues to no avail... I should have realized I could just roll back the container, the timing definitely coincided with the weekly automatic update. Hopefully with the recent news that NZBget development has returned, we'll see issues like this fixed!

  5. thank you, here is all the info on my setup. so i have tried to restart my unraid setup many times. Restarted dockers, tried to update using consule. But i get errors everytime. Using the builtin updater i get stuck at step 3. Gateway time out.

  6. Thanks! I got some e-mails from github so I figured you were looking into it If you need some changes let me know. And about the uninstaller: It seems kinda strange for an uninstaller to leave traces. I would also preferer it to delete everything it created. You might debate on if it needs to delete an entire directory or only the files it created in a directory. I would normally only remove->reinstall a plugin if I wanted to start with a clean state. But then again if everybody does that on Unraid..... Would be great if there where some guidelines from Limetech on how to develop a plugin and about this kind of stuff.

  7. I'm looking at it now. Just merged it to the test branch and am testing a couple things out. Also going through your notes, they are super helpful! Glad to hear you're using the UI customization of snmpd.conf (and thank you again for contributing!), I'm sure others will have similar findings! Yes, this is by design! I am a big proponent of uninstallers removing all traces, rather than leaving the user to find what was left behind and what wasn't. Some other plugins do this as well: https://github.com/jbrodriguez/unbalance/blob/master/plugin/template.plg#L88 and https://github.com/dlandon/open.files/blob/master/open.files.plg#L163 for example. Meanwhile, and as you've noted, others remove only some of the files under the boot directory https://github.com/dmacias72/unRAID-NerdPack/blob/master/plugin/NerdPack.plg#L292 and https://github.com/StevenDTX/unRAID-open-vm-tools/blob/master/openVMTools_compiled.plg#L275 I'll keep it as-is for now but will definitely think more on it. Thanks for the call-out!

  9. Everything in /mnt/user except appdata looks correct, as expected after Docker Safe New Permissions. One level up is where the real problem is though. And appdata itself. The real puzzle in these situations is how it ever got that way to begin with. You need to chmod 777 /mnt/* and chmod 777 /mnt/user/appdata

  10. You have to go through the whole script and let it compile and then you should have the output folder where all bz* files are in there, the container doesn't create a zip file.

  12. It doesn't. You can take a look here for some performance numbers: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/41340-satasas-controllers-tested-real-world-max-throughput-during-parity-check/

  13. That's a very good option, and it doesn't require a PCIe 3.0 slot, it will work on a 2.0 slot, that controller uses the LSI 2308 chip, it's one of the recommended ones in the link above.

  14. Have you actually set a password for the unRaid GUI (via the Users tab)? It ships initially with no password set.

  18. Do this again to see if Docker Safe New Permissions made any progress on at least part of that.

  19. I have a similar setup with a 710 and 1060. All you need to do to ensure the 1030 is available for the VM is to go to Tools > System Devices in the Unraid interface, and check the box next to that card (and any associated devices i.e. audio controller), and press the BIND SELECTED TO VFIO AT BOOT button. Upon next reboot it should be free for VM use. If you don't do this step, that GPU will bind to the NVidia driver instead.

  20. Currently the mover only moves when you tell it too. All Cache drives Squid no longer maintains the Mover Tuner. That is done by somebody else. @hugenbdd does. Worst case create a user script that moves your files on a Cron from /mnt/2ndCacheDrive to /mnt/user0/ShareName /mnt/user0 doesn't take in account for the cache drive. Just an idea of course.

  22. Might I suggest changing autocomplete="off" to autocomplete="new-password" ? Keep running into it trying to autofill credentials into this field. See the bottom of this article: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/Securing_your_site/Turning_off_form_autocompletion Edit: interestingly enough, this doesn't occur on all pages. I've seen it several times, but out of all the main tab pages, only the "Main" tab is the one that it occurs on. Dashboard, Shares, Settings, Plugins, etc are all fine and it doesn't occur there. Double checked and the line is the same. Not sure what the deal is here with Chrome.

  23. So I stripped it down to the motherboard only, out of the case with a new power supply, new cmos, swapping cpus and ram in a minimal config. It appears something in my mb is toast as i can not even get it to post. Spent 48 hours trying to troubleshoot but have conceded, and a replacement mb is on the way along with 2 new cpu coolers (sm active). I think perhaps my upgrading to 2 - x5860's while using the stock passive heatsinks was probably putting some additional heat/stress on the mb. and these components are like 10 yrs old.. anyway, I'll check back next week to confirm that everything's fine. thx

  24. Install and your good. The plugin uses the built in scheduler from the old method. So yes you need to make sure you keep the old schedule so the new method plug-in knows how often to run or in this case how often to run/check for whatever settings you have enabled in the mover tuner. The old version is part of the OS so there isn’t a safe method to remove it unless you command prompt in and delete it. Not recommended because this plugin uses the scheduler and allows for returning back to default mover by simply removing the plugin if you choose to later. For example. I have Plex scheduled to run it’s maintenance at 6am-8am so I have the mover set to check daily at 5:45am. If it moves something it’s often a file or 2 and then it’s a drive or two less than Plex has to spin up. If it moves nothing then Plex does it’s thing anyways. I used to run weekly Sunday at 12:05am, but now I run daily and let the mover script determine if my files are 15days old or not. I might reduce to 7 days just because, but 15 sounded good. Lol

  25. Install, go to the Scheduler page, select your schedule (Hit Apply under Mover Settings), then set at least one item in the mover tuning setting (Hit Apply under Mover Tuning w/Age - Days Old)

  26. I'm having same issue.... cannot boot GUI mode. I have tried various settings on BIOS to no avail. So far I have not tried legacy boot, since my boot flash drive is UEFI only. Not sure why that would work, but its the only thing I haven't checked. I have Asus X570 Tuf MB with AMD 3400G processor. CSM enabled. Running 6.9.2 version Unraid. Any help would be appreciated ... or is this an Unraid bug. I'd like to get it fixed so I can use Krusader file manager to make degoogling easier. SOLVED.... Installed "radeon top" plugin which enables 'amdgpu' kernel module. So anyone else having this issue and using AMD cpu/graphics... try installing "Radeon Top" plugin.

  27. Thanks a lot, Jorge 👍 I rebuild my RAID5 with original plan (now with disk share), I can now have 4xx - 5xx write-in speed~~~ 😃 Never imagine the coding in "User share" will cause much performance issue: https://blog.insanegenius.com/2020/04/25/unraid-user-share-vs-disk-share-smb-performance/

  28. You can do Docker Safe New Permissions and it won't touch appdata. Try that and we can go from there.

  29. You should be very wary about changing permissions inside appdata as each container may have its own special requirements around permissions.

  30. You buried it inside a quote that got collapsed, and I don't usually expect there is any need to expand a quote from a post I have already read, especially a quote from my own post. Instead of using the Quote button to quote the entire post, you can quote specific portions of a post (like I did just above in this post) by selecting the text and then use "Quote selection" from the popup that results. Then you can respond to each relevant portion separately. Much cleaner than burying things inside quotes, and when things get nested even deeper way too much trouble for the reader. Those permissions are wrong, should be more like this (from my server): root@unSERVER:~# ls -lah /mnt total 16K drwxr-xr-x 13 root root 260 Apr 19 10:48 ./ drwxr-xr-x 20 root root 460 Apr 19 10:43 ../ drwxrwxrwx 5 nobody users 120 Apr 19 10:48 RecycleBin/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 62 Apr 22 04:40 cache/ drwxrwxrwx 4 nobody users 41 Apr 22 04:40 disk1/ drwxrwxrwx 3 nobody users 27 Apr 22 04:40 disk2/ drwxrwxrwx 6 nobody users 75 Apr 22 04:40 disk3/ drwxrwxrwx 8 nobody users 105 Apr 22 04:40 disk4/ drwxrwxrwt 2 nobody users 40 Apr 7 17:15 disks/ drwxrwxrwx 8 nobody users 91 Apr 22 04:40 fast/ drwxrwxrwt 2 nobody users 40 Apr 7 17:15 remotes/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 41 Apr 22 04:40 user/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 41 Apr 22 04:40 user0/

You can use authentik in an existing environment to add support for new protocols. authentik is also a great solution for implementing signup/recovery/etc in your application, so you don't have to deal with it. https://goauthentik.io/
