  1. Well, just a week after v0.2.1 came out, another big step forward for Machinaris is here: v0.3.0 Huge thanks to all those that ran the test version and logged Github issues. Changes: Integrate the excellent Chiadog project for log monitoring and alerting Plotman Analyze output to show time spent in each plotting phase Log Viewer for Farming, Alerts, and Plotting including logs for running plot jobs Rebase off ubuntu:focal, include nice Dockerfile cleanup by sparklyballs When mode=plotter, autoconfigure Plotman with provided farmer_pk and pool_pk When mode=harvester, auto import of your farmer's CA certificates Get your update by pulling docker image: `ghcr.io/guydavis/machinaris`

  2. This was solved as far as I know. Please head over to @Spectral Force's Discord to get support for 7DtD: https://discord.gg/VwwYA5h Are you sure that you have the folder where you 7DtD directory is located to Cache Only or Prefer? If you have set it to Yes or no then the container can't work in the default configuration. I will look into it ASAP.

  6. Where did you look for the config file? Here is a guide but please be aware that your path has to be somewhere to be in your appdata directory in the folder for ConanExiles: Click Click on the icon for the container and select "Log".

  7. Is there anyway for the main summary page to show the hash challenges for harvesters connecting to the node like the normal GUI does. As I glance through the log I am guessing the answer is no, but it would be awesome if showed the plots passed status of the connecting harvesters. I think I will dabble with having multiple dockers running so that Chia dog can point at each of my harvesters for reporting. That plus pushover notifications or something should help things out. Love the new release! Update: I have 2 dockers running, with the log file overwriting from a remote harvester, but at a glance it looks like this band-aid doesn't work for Chiadog. I don't think Chia dog is expecting to see the log of a harvester as it doesn't pull out the number of plots processing time info like it does on a Full node log. Seems like the best solution for monitoring remote harvester logs will be to get the Chiadog developer to add this officially as a feature.

  8. It is not supported anymore, it was indicated in the release notes : https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Release_Notes/Unraid_OS_6.9.0#Linux_Kernel

  9. A couple of decades of working with SMB you learn the tricks. And where the real headaches lie. (Taming Windows 95 devices required use of a cattle prod) Haha. A Windows tool to help? Nah - just that pint of Guinness and a stop watch. My real suggestion is to look at what is on your network. What are the devices and who may be trying to boss into the election. Each time they start arguing you have the potential for two different answer coming back and your network getting split into two. You can also get the Master Browser falling asleep and needing to be woken up to reply with the list. I would sketch out a network on a pad of paper and look who is involved. Disconnect a few machines for a test. Does the network behave okay when it is just UNRAID, the Win10 machines and the router? Leave the Unbuntu disconnected. After a few hours of testing, and more Guinness, reintroduce some of the other machines in batches. Some devices just have different SMB implementations and cause confusions. Or could be causing arguments by having differing settings within their SMB setups. If you have been reading around, have you been doing registry tweaks to "fix" these issues? Often those tweaks are very out of date and can cause more problems than needed. My current home network is a mix of Win10, Unraid, Pi, TV boxes, HiFi, Printers all bickering over that same SMB network. I let UNRAID take over as Master Browser. No tweaks on any of the other machines and that Win10 box connected first time to Unraid shares over SMB. During the test, when you reintroduce machines, give them 30mins to settle. Crack another beer and walk away before testing. I am not saying the Unbuntu is "wrong", just it may be talking a slightly different flavour of disruption. This is one reason I think it is worth trying to get the UNRAID server to take over as master browser by hitting that tick. If one machine is fixed as master it stops the elections and means the Win10 boxes know who to talk to directly every time. (I am assume you have an always on UNRAID box) It could also be that your Master Browser is a PC that just falls asleep a lot. So when you try and browse it is needing to get a kick to wake it up causing that delay. Also I'll add something to @Frank1940 - check your cables. Any old cheapo Ethernet cables on the important machines? Try swapping them out. Only last month I had a cable fail after sitting there happy for 20 years... Or then there was that office where I found an ancient cheap 10BASE-T hub still in use complete with leaking capacitors inside... Sometimes it is the simple things

  14. Disk looks fine, replace/swap cables to rule em out and rebuild assuming the emulated disk is mounting correctly. You also have what look more like connection issues with the cache drive, but since it dropped offline there's no SMART report.

  15. Diags are after rebooting so we can't see what happened but the disk has a lot of pending sectors, you should run an extended SMART test.

  17. @ljm42 I think it had to do with this being a reinstall. I can't recall the status of my backup before but it's possibly related. I just fixed it for myself. I did the following steps to get it working: *wiped the /boot/.git directory *removed /var/local/emhttp/flashbackup.ini * then manually initialized with php /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.my.servers/scripts/UpdateFlashBackup.php activate Perhaps more checks are needed on a reinstall to remove the .git directory and any leftovers from a previous install to prevent this? Edit: the last step may have been unnecessary to manually activate from the CLI. I did not refresh the myservers page in the GUI to see if it would work automatically. I can say for sure that just removing the .git folder under boot was not enough, though.

  18. Hi @ich777, thanks for that awesome work. Hope you will keep it going for the upcoming releases of unraid. Cant miss that. I just tryed to get my Tevii S470 running with openElec drivers and it worked just plug and play with your plugin! Danke, Alles Gute! Cheers

  19. Hi! You can use an SSH terminal like MobaXterm to SSH into the Unraid server as root, opening multiple sessions on different tabs. Then just 'docker exec -it chia bash' to get into the Chia container. That said, perhaps you would find a WebUI with plot manager a better fit. If so, check out my project: Machinaris.

  22. Unfortunately it's already enabled I haven't tried that yet but I ran the server details through a PSU calculator and even if I over-exaggerate on the number of drives etc, my PSU should have plenty of overhead. It's about 400-460W recommended but the fitted PSU is 750W. I'll endeavour to follow the other suggestion (temporary unraid server using an entirely different machine - one where this card can work in Windows) tomorrow. Thanks

  23. Sorry to hear that you're experiencing syncing problems. It should be possible to restart the chia services from within the container without impacting concurrent plotting jobs. Try this from the Docker console for Machinaris under Unraid (so an in-container command): chia start farmer -r

  24. Depends on the mapping, but in general, yes. Which leads me to my main point. Why bother moving things? Just let the new data go to the fresh 8TB. Since the actual location is hidden behind the /mnt/user structure, why does it matter which disk number is used?

  25. You can use the Unbalance plugin or use Midnight Commander (mc in the console).

  26. I find Windows network is like Guinness - you have to wait for it to settle... 🍺 This is why I often use the IP address and bypass the whole naming scheme. I've always found the delays are just stuck in the naming lookups and you can go straight there with the IP Address. I like the fact that UNRAID notes that you can "cheat" Windows with user credentials as it Windows treats \\NAME as a different entity to \\IP-ADDRESS. As you note, SMB goes back to Windows for Workgroups and therefore predates the TCP\IP stack in Windows! 🎺

  27. any chance you can update the icon URL in your template since the existing icon went 404? this one looks like a good replacement.. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/netdata/netdata/master/web/gui/dashboard/images/ms-icon-310x310.png thanks in advance!

  28. Absolutely. When adding a new drive in the Array, Unraid will format clear the drive and format it (create an empty file system). If Unraid finds a Preclear signature, Unraid considers that the drive is already cleared. Yep, you will have to tick a small box next to the format button and VERIFY that the drives proposed for format are the ones you want. Then you will be quickly done.

  29. @kennygunit I was able to SSH in to my server. But this will only last until you reboot. sudo nano /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php The permanent way would be to modify the boot via SSH: sudo nano /boot/config/go Paste this at the end: (Shift Insert or Right Click) # Fix Docker - Case Insensitive sed -i 's#@Docker-Content-Digest:\\s*\(.*\)@#\@Docker-Content-Digest:\\s*\(.*\)@i#g' /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php Ctrl X and save then Reboot. All thanks goes to HyperV, Morthan, and ich777 ❤️

  30. I had exactly the same issue and could not find any solutions on the forum or the internet. So I did some digging myself and found the cause of the issue. The docker update check script gets the remote digest of the latest tag from the docker repository via a header called 'Docker-Content-Digest'. The script checks for this header with a case-sensitive regex pattern. Manually querying the docker hub registry gives me a header called 'docker-content-digest' (mind the casing). The docker hub registry must have recently changed the casing of this header, because it broke for me in the last 24 hours. I'm running on Unraid 6.8.3 still, so I'm not 100% sure if this issue also exists in 6.9.x. If you feel up to it, you could quite easily fix this yourself until there is a real fix. I'll describe the steps below: Open file: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/include/DockerClient.php Go to line 457. There you should look for the text: @Docker-Content-Digest:\s*(.*)@ and replace it with: @Docker-Content-Digest:\s*(.*)@i Save the file. This will make the header check case-insensitive and should make it work again.

  31. This newer board looks great! I like the extra network adapter and hdmi. I just have the E3C246D4U2. Who did you talk with at ASRock? Maybe you can entice @Hoopster to upgrade his board and let you know if it works? LOL.

  32. Since everyone is aware of google removing their unlimited photo storage. I only see fit to have LibrePhotos (Self hosted Google Photos clone). Seems to be a fork of OwnPhotos, but with some much needed bugfixes. https://github.com/LibrePhotos/librephotos Found a DockerHub and attempted to install via CA, but no luck. If anyone was able to get this working please let me know. https://hub.docker.com/r/reallibrephotos/librephotos-proxy/ https://hub.docker.com/r/reallibrephotos/librephotos-frontend/ https://hub.docker.com/r/reallibrephotos/librephotos/ Demo Site: https://demo2.librephotos.com/
