  6. You can get Notifications from AutoUpdate plugin. What changes are made to any particular docker you would have to check its support thread or links from the first post in the thread. Often no change info available.

  8. I can confirm this works, but if I unplug the device it will change the Device number and the VM wont find the device. Also after a reboot device may be renumbered. <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='usb' managed='no'> <source> <vendor id='0x0781'/> <product id='0x5567'/> <address bus='1' device='22'/> </source> <alias name='hostdev0'/> <address type='usb' bus='0' port='2'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='usb' managed='no'> <source> <vendor id='0x0781'/> <product id='0x5567'/> <address bus='1' device='21'/> </source> root@computenode:~# lsusb Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 002 Device 002: ID 1c04:0015 QNAP System Inc. 9.

  12. Yes, but I'm actually from Austria and I speak German and I use the German version from the container. Please update the container by turning on the Advanced View on the Docker page and click, should be fixed now. Seems like this was language specific...

  13. I will look into this ASAP. Have you installed the default english version I think, evnetually it's related to the language, will report back.

  14. Hi guys, Hi have been using and experimenting with unraid for the last few months and I have a couple of questions I am hoping to get answers too... I don't think I have unique setup but one that's most likely different from many. I have a Dell R710 and its simply being used for media only... the process for acquiring and storing all happens on this server. Where this differs is I have a couple PCIe SATA cards that in it and some extra long SATA cable and my array is technically powered by another server. (This is kind of irrelevant to be honest) This is the only way I can get drives powered without spending a fortune on a dedicated storage server. Where things get a little extra is where I pool a 1tb HDD to act as a torrent storage area... I found this was the best way to keep things moving without constantly keeping the array in use. I don't run any parity at all as its starting to bite me in the ass because I ran into some corruption on one of my drives last night and I didn't realise how much I have come to depend on it. My array looks like this. 1x6tb 3x2tb 1x500GB - Cache 1x1tb - Downloads What I would like to know... essentially is if I buy in another 4x4tb drives and put the other two into the array and use the 6tb as the download drive would that parity become invalid with having a 6tb pool or can I exclude it... the data on this drive is simply junk once moved away and is too large to fit on the parity. Long story short... would this cause me any issues with parity?

  15. So it's working... no changes from last post other than using BattleEye. So I put in -NoBattleEye to try and not make it a requirement. When I launch the game and choose the option to not use BattleEye it would not connect, and it would try to get me to install BattleEye. I did some googling and there were posts talking about that flag not working. So I tried with BattleEye and it worked. This is still in Bridge mode, which I do not like. I am not sure what would prevent my machine from getting on the container. I can ping it without any issue. But this is definitely something funky with the network. So at this point it's confirmed not a container thing! Thanks for your help!

  16. Warum nimmst du dafür nicht die Onboard 1G Buchse? Meine QNAP zeigt per "ethtool" auch kein WoL, obwohl sie eigentlich WoL unterstützen sollte.

  17. Still not clear to me if you want to keep the 6TB drive in the array or if you are thinking of moving it to an (unprotected) pool outside the array? If you wand to keep it in the array then it would need to become the parity drive as no data drive can be larger than the parity drive. In that case you would have to first get its data copied to the array (presumably using the new 4TB drives you mentioned) before building parity on it. If it will not be in the array then one of the new 4TB drives could become the parity drive for the array.

  19. Corrupt docker.img . It doesn't look full now, have you had problems filling it? You will have to delete and recreate docker.img . https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Docker_Management#Re-Create_the_Docker_image_file Then reinstall your containers with Previous Apps. https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Docker_Management#Re-Installing_Docker_Applications

  21. After tearing my hair and one sleepless night i can say that if this happens to anybody else and nothing mentioned in the thread works. Turn off bonding in network settings. For some reason it was enabled and set bridging option into a fritz (br0 was nowhere to be found) when i swapped motherboard. So i shut down my VM, Docker, disabled bonding and got an option for what eth0 to bridge to.

  22. Plex is working. Embarrassing. "Enable HW transcoding" was disabled in Plex server setup. I had an error with the cache, needed to reformat, did app restore. But did not check the Plex server setting. Sorry for the trouble. It is a FaH problem I have, not a driver issue. Thank you very much for the help. // Frode

  28. By default Unraid uses bonding of the interfaces. If you want to use your 10G interface as main interface, you'll need to do two steps 1. Under network settings disable bonding 2. Under Interface Rules set your 10G interface as eth0 Because you are going to interrupt the connection, easiest way to do this, is with a locally attached monitor + keyboard/mouse and boot in GUI mode.
