  1. I've done a bit of research into this along with several other people here on the forum. The conclusion is that this isn't anything LT will be interested in working on for the following reasons: You are using a printer that needs a firmware update. SMB is not written by LT. LT configures samba, but has no control over it's operation. You appear to be the only user experiencing this issue. You have several options here: Enable SMBv1 and live with that. Lobby your printer manufacturer to provide a firmware update. Take your issue to the samba development team for a resolution. A future release of samba may resolve this issue, but I doubt it.

  3. When we encounter a failure, what should we be doing to "retry"? Simply pressing the "Update" button or should we be retinitializing or deactivating and reactivating? Without fail it says "Failed to sync flash backup" for me, and it hasn't once connected, so I'm just wanting to check I'm pressing the right buttons to try and get it working. Thank you.

Was mMn. ohne weitere Verkraftbar ist.

  8. I replaced the Asmedia controller with a Startech 8P6G-PCIE-SATA-CARD and the September parity check gave 0 errors! I've had 0 errors with the Asmedia a few times too, so I'll wait for 3 consecutive months with no errors to call it a victory. Thank you so much!

  12. Flash backup needs to be able to make an outgoing ssh connection to backup.unraid.net on port 22 or 443. You can do `nslookup backup.unraid.net` to see the possible IP addresses it will connect to.

  17. It looks like you're using the wrong image tag as I don't see that it's starting mariadb. Make sure you're using jasonbean/guacamole:latest (NOT jasonbean/guacamole:latest-nomariadb). 20. Currently it no longer generates the graphs, and just outputs texts. This was a quick work around to remove the dependency issues, I'll be adding graphs back in a future release, using a different approach.

  21. The url shown on the My Servers dashboard can be adjusted by changing your Use SSL/TLS setting. This section on redirects should help: https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Security#Redirects I prefer the Strict setting, although it does make it harder to access your server when your Internet goes down. If that happens, see the url above for the workaround.

  22. EDIT: Nerdtools is now available as a replacement, you might want to check that first: Some tools like iperf3 and perl are now included in the base unraid release, hence them not being present in there. If it doesn't have what you need request it in the thread, and in the meantime the manual install below is still available in the original text below: ---------------------- Nerdpack is deprecated in 6.11. For the record, since it was unfortunately only posted in a thread in the German section instead of here where people would typically come for support (translated): To replicate the functionality (unsupported): Go to https://slackware.pkgs.org/15.0/slackware-x86_64/ which lists packages for Slackware 15 Unraid is based on Search for the packages you want Download the txz files for them, and put them on the flash drive in /extra (/boot/extra on a running system), that will cause them to auto-install on boot (create the folder if there isn't one) To be able to use them without a reboot use unraid CLI to navigate where you put the packages and run installpkg <filename> Packages might have dependencies, that would typically be pointed out by an error when trying to run the programs they contain, if so download and install those as well. The site also has a section listing dependencies that might help, although I wouldn't just install them by default since some are already built into unraid so try to run first. EDIT: Other package sources: https://slackonly.com/pub/packages/15.0-x86_64/ https://slackware.pkgs.org/current/slackers/ Of course the nerdpack repo although packages may be outdated: https://github.com/dmacias72/unRAID-NerdPack
