Just wanted to comment that my transition from 6.10.3 to 6.11.5 seems to have happened smooth and problem free. I updated all my apps and plugins and for some reason my gpu fan went to 100% when I updated my plugins but I rebooted and it was back to normal. Then I ran the update assistant, it suggested I removed NerdPack since its no longer compatible and I did that then updated the OS. It installed then took 2 minutes to do a clean shut down and reboot and its back up and running. Hopefully it'll continue being as stable as it was on 6.10.3.......its been running continuous since I did the 6.10.3 update and I look forward to it continuing to remain that stable going forward. Thank you for all you guys advice and such. I couldn't have this server without you guys on the forum.....I don't know jack about computers.....I have no idea how I built this from scratch and use it daily hahaha Much appreciated!!!

for anyone that finds this post in the future. this issue was my transceivers. i was using direct attach 10m copper cables and my switch didn't like them. Swapping to optical transceivers fixed the problem

NerdTools is the new plugin that allows you to install additional packages in UnRAID easily. This project is based on the old NerdPack plugin but has received many improvements and important changes. I know it's a bit of niche use-case but more and more Telsla/Quadro cards are being affordable now and some make great gaming GPUs aka Tesla P4. Proxmox and ESXi both have support for Nvidia vGPU Manager / Drivers.

Hi, I created the vlan 10. I can use this new interface in VMs but in the configuration of dockers doesn't appear the interface bri0.10. What I doing wrong? Thank you in advance for the help!

OK will do what I ask in the next update it "hits" the container. I don't quite understood the reasoning behind not letting the container run if an update fails. I am talking if an update DOWNLOAD fails (then the "old" version is untouched and working) - then why not let it just run? If a download is broken and there is no mechanism to just (re)try to finish the download, then don't extract (there is a test for gz to check if the archive is ok), so it won't break the existing install. In my case the download was there (and downloaded by the system, not by me) and it was complete. But for some reason the update system never used it and reported the error. Anyway, I guess we'll see what happens next time.

This was resolved with the last update to the plugin.

I hate the new system prefs too, but I deal with it. Another petty annoyance is they changed "Enter Time Machine" to "Browse Time Machine Backups" I want to enter a time machine!

Thank you, I swear when I looked, I couldn't find any options to change the db, anyways I relocated the db and setup the config.yml to point to it, also had to add the path in the container configuration, but everything works now, and I can peacefully let my drives go to standby. This issue was also resolved. it turns out that the camera did not have the new gateway configured and therefore was out of sync.

Just to report back and close the thread - the server ran successfully with a single stick (either) in both DIMM slots. As a last hurrah, before RMAing things, I tried to increase the voltage of the RAM from 1.2V to 1.35V and I'm happy to report that things look stable! I'll give the server a week or so and if things remain stable, I'll probably just stick with this configuration. Thanks for your help

Depends on your preference, usually after everything is on cache I recommend changing to cache=only.

The setting is described in this bug report. It's not really a bug, but the response describes more about how the setting works. You have to work with Windows Share Admin tool to get it to work properly. I suspect Windows has made some changes that are affecting how this setting works in Samba now.

Ok, ich hab mir mal Dein Manual genauer angesehen, das Board unterstützt das Feature überhaupt nicht 😞 Es geht nicht darum, dass alle 3 Slots jeweils 8 Lanes haben könnten, sondern, dass ein einzelner Slot aufgeteilt werden kann. Bei meinem Board ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) kann ich zb Slot 1 von 16x umschalten auf 4x4x4x4x und Slot 2 von 8x auf 4x4x. Nur bei solchen Board funktionieren diese Asus Hyper M.2 Karten. Ein Tipp bei ASUS Boards: wenn man im Bios den 1ten M.2 Platz umschalten kann auf "NVMe RAID", dann ist die Chance gut, dass die Hyper Karte funktioniert. Aber gräme Dich nicht. Ich hatte meine auch schon vor Urzeiten gekauft und nicht benutzen können (wegen der mangelnden Unterstützung). Beim neuen Server letztes Jahr hab ich dann schon beim Kauf drauf geachtet und konnte die Karte endlich verwenden (lag wohl schon so 3 Jahre in der Ecke rum) Ne aktive Karte hab ich nie probiert, waren mir zu teuer. Und jetzt würde ich auch keine mehr kaufen. Mit PCIe5.0 wird alles wieder anders und damit wäre der Geschwindigkeitsverlust gleich um 50% geringer. Also ABWARTEN.

Well without knowing what you did we can't be sure hence asking for what instructions you followed, but the reddit thread for example talks of running docker run cloudflare/cloudflared:2022.5.3 tunnel --no-autoupdate run --token <your token> which are generic instructions, and would have the result of creating a container that unraid has no idea about and has a random name since none was specified just like you see. The first comment mentions that and not being clean in the unraid context (as you see) and says how to enter it using Add Container instead so unraid can track it.

That is SERIOUSLY disappointing! No, I don't have anything to do with Varken, nor do I have the time to look into creating a replacement. If anyone takes up the VARKEN mantle, please let me know so we can collaborate. Note: Varken still works currently and it still in the UUD 1.7 forthcoming update. I actually just updated all of the UUD 1.7 panels to fully support Grafana 9.X. I'll be releasing the UUD 1.7 with Varken still as the dependent Plex/Tautulli DB plugin. Also, the UUD 1.7 is fully compatible with the latest UNRAID 6.10.X releases (just tested them personally). UUD 1.7 will most likely be my FINAL major update to this project as well. Everything should still work if you can download the dependencies/dockers, and if the UNRAID OS does not break anything in a future update. I did DEPRECATE the UNRAID API plugin/Docker, as a memory leak was pointed out by its developer (that project is dead also), and I have removed those panels from the UUD. There will be more than enough new bells and whistles in UUD 1.7 that I think are very useful and exciting for people to geek out on. It is the most polished, organized, slick, and purpose built UUD to date. I'm excited to share it with you guys. Now I just need to find some time to wrap it up and post it. Using a SATA connector from the power supply, maximum I would feel safe would be 2 drives, and even then it's not a good idea. The SATA connectors are just a poor design, and you are asking for problems by putting them in a chain. If you use a 4 pin connector from the PSU, they can pass current much better, and it should be safe to run 4 drives from one 4 pin source, assuming the PSU can handle the current.

is there a readme or a wiki or something for this? i installed via community apps and i have no idea what to do now. trying to run a project zomboid server. how do i add mods? how do i really do anything? edit. after some more googling i found this video that told me everything i needed to know.

Shutdown completely. Then boot up in SAFE mode, that will let you see what happens without any plugins installed.

Newegg in the US has the ASRock Rack E3C246D2I for $260. Mini-ITX, socket 1151 (Xeon E-22XX or 9th generation Core), 8 SATA ports (4 onboard, 4 via OCuLink cable), IPMI, etc. The C246 WSI is the workstation version without IPMI. I got my E3C246D2I earlier this year from Nextwarehouse for a little less but it looks like they are currently out of stock. This is the same motherboard in my backup server. The OCuLink cable works very well for four additional SATA ports, but, yes it is an additional expense. I got one for $25 on eBay. The Lian-Li PC-Q25 Mini-ITX case (I wish it were still available) has room for 7 HDDs and a 2.5" SSD so I have a bit of room to grow in that case. I have really not been impressed with the current offering of server motherboards that support socket 1200 and socket 1700. They are very, very expensive and hard to find. For example, the mATX socket 1700 W680D4U is $479. That's $200 more than what I paid for the E3C246D4U currently in my main server. Fortunately, both of my systems based on C246 chipset socket 1151 motherboards have plenty of horsepower for my current and short-term future needs. It used to be fairly easy to find several good current-generation motherboards readily in stock and at a decent price whenever one went looking. That task is a lot harder now.

Access the command line of the server via PiKVM and type: diagnostics Note where it tells you it put the file on your flash drive. Then download that file from your flash drive and upload it here.

Brauchst du eigentlich nicht. Die Go File darf ja angepasst werden, nur man muss natürlich wissen was man reinpackt. Die Go File wird zB auch ausgeführt, wenn man im Safe Mode ohne Plugins hochfährt. Ich habe da massig Anpassungen drin ^^

Maybe it`s not the right topic for my critics, but I could not find another better place. With all my respect to this hole project which I really like: Could somebody explain why these "beta" releases are pushed that much to public for everyone? Newsletter and UnraidServer itself pushes me all the time to update. I´m a bit disappointed getting part of this without being clearly informed that I will be a beta tester and risk my working system every one or two weeks again. Imho there is missing a clear statement to tell the user what`s the last stable release and where beginns beta. Naturally I do understand that there needs to be testers and I appriciate that unraid gets developped further, but maybe there is a other way to get the volunteer testers in charge. Hope you understand that I dont wanna blaim someone for this, but thats how I see the situation at the moment.

Please update to the latest Coral plugin version (2022.11.14), remove everything custom you have done to enable the TPU on boot and reboot. It should now load the driver on it's own again. Please report back if it's now working for you.

Can you please add bluez to the nerd-tools package. I need bluez because I want to add a Bluetooth stick to the homeassistant docker. Bluez was added to the old Nerd Pack https://github.com/dmacias72/unRAID-NerdPack/issues/6

Good evening, I'm trying to host a docker container on my VLAN 12 (br0.12) and my Unraid server is only joinable on the interface br0 (native vlan 11 on my network). No IP set for Unraid in Vlan 12. All networks described are /24. Example for a docker container : VLAN 12 (br0.12) on a static IP like x.x.12.253:3000 (joinable, everything is fine) But if I enter the IP address of my Unraid server (like if it's hosted) on my native VLAN x.x.11.254:3000, I can reach my docker that should only be set for Vlan 12, and should only be joined via x.x.12.253:3000. My docker is joinable via 2 different IPs, 2 different network. I did try disabling the bridge mode in the settings and then it's not available anymore on 11.254:3000 (that's what I want to achieve), but I also broke my VMs because I don't have a bridge anymore (vibr0). Because it goes from br0 to eth0 and same for the VLANs (br0.12 to eth0.12) In the docker settings I disabled the option "Host access to custom networks". That does not do what I wanted too. (because brO and br0.12 are described as Custom in the list of network type when choosing for dockers) It's like choosing between VMs or good network isolation but I can't have both. If I want the same docker in 2 distinct networks, I would create 2 dockers (not the same on 2 networks) I did read a lot of topics about networking for Unraid, and I'm almost sure you would like me to buy a second NIC. But then, what's the point of VLANs if I have to buy a NIC only to have a docker on another network and at the same time host VMs on the first NIC ? (If I want a VM in my VLAN 12 I assume the same problem would occur again with a second NIC) What is the point of the Bridge interface with multiple VLAN ? (for me it's like having a network leak) Is their a way to block this from happening while in bridge mode ? Or is their a way to put my VMs directly on eth0 instead of br0 (like from vibr0 to vieth0 or something like that) Should I create a create different networks ? My LAN (VLAN 11 in my network) The Unraid administration (but with all dockers from others VLAN hosted too, in like VLAN 20 in my network) And one like my vlan 12 with the docker container described above etc But then I have hosted dockers that would be on another netowork from my personal LAN. I'm managing access between my VLANs with my L3 Switch. I'm a bit tired of breaking everything appart with my Unraid server, so I'm now asking you what should I do. I have submitted a pull request for consideration. Initially this will only update after each share being transferred and just shows a percentage complete. Status will also update for scheduled moves. The transfers to and from are sequential so you will not see both at the same time. From would say 0% complete until To had finished or will show nothing to transfer if that is the case.
