  1. New version is out with the request from @Mattaton, now Docker container both in the dashboard and in the Docker tab have autostart status classes, refer to the template on the GH repo for more info. @Mattaton and @hernandito can you include in the README or the CSS file itself on your GH repo the latest version of the plugin you know the CSS is working on? I think this will make things easier knowing what works on what version.

  2. Thanks for the feedback. Always glad to have confirmation that the issue seems to have been resolved and something new has not immediately popped up

  4. I have an Unraid server that is already going to be deployed in an area. Background music is needed and I'm hoping the server can also be the music player as well. Will a docker container be able to output audio to the motherboard's speaker output by default? If possible but not by default, are there any special settings that need to be configured? Or maybe not a docker, but a plugin would have access to the audio output? If this already exists, does anyone have any recommendations? I would like to have a share folder I can add mp3 files to and the software automatically plays the files randomly (ideally with crossfade). It would also be awesome if the software would automatically recognize new files or the removal of files to include or exclude from the shuffle. No controls would be needed, but have the ability to pause/resume and control volume would be nice.

  5. not sure what you are really asking for here? If you are 6.12.x or later releases with exclusive mode enabled for the appdata share then accessing /mnt/user/appdata is as efficient as accessing the drive directly

  7. Finally, after some tinkering with the drive ,it seems as if it was an ev0l Windows boot partition which was the culprate, I did away with it using dispart on the windoze comp. Removed it there and it came right up once I started the array.

  10. I only have 2 servers. This specific server doesn't do anything besides hold data storage. The Nvidia 1060 that is in it, actually isn't even being used. So I could just uninstall the plugin and be fine. No worries on not being able to figure out the issue. I appreciate you looking into it and answering. Thanks.

  11. Sure thing, I've looked at it but couldn't find anything suspicious at a quick look. Okay, then this is specific to your server but I really can't tell what's happening there... How many servers do you have? Please note that I use GitHub API calls for the check but that shouldn't be an issue at all since you can do 50 API calls in one hour, so as long as you don't have more than 50 servers you should be good to go <- even then the update check is randomly triggered between 8am and 10am This is really strange and I don't have a explanation for that... Sorry. You can at least disable the update check since it won't make much sense to be always on the latest driver if you are using the card only for transcoding, if you are using the card for example for Steam Headless from @Josh.5 it makes more sense to always be on the latest driver.

  12. Is this by linuxserver? My igpu works just fine with it. It's the same igpu you are using. https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/126684/intel-core-i7-8700k-processor-12m-cache-up-to-4-70-ghz.html

  14. Oh nice! This will be fun to dig into! Thanks! CSS files on my repo have been updated to include minimum folder.view version. Also added to README. Will update again once I implement styles for the new autostart classes. https://github.com/Tyree/folder.view.custom.css Thanks!

  15. How do you have so many nvme devices in one box? Udev is reporting the disks marked "Udev" as having "XFS" file systems, but you said they are formatted NTFS. Try clicking on the double arrows on the upper right side of the UD webpage and see if Udev will report the file system type correctly on those disks.

  16. If it works you can try this instead, if there's a BIOS option for it, so c-states can still be enabled and it will use less power.

  17. Yeah, thats when it started, did the weird thing and ive changed the scaling to serverside and back. the weird 1920x1102 must be from when i "fixed" it. Cause thats the log file of unraid, was already easier to grab from /system/docker/containers/blahblub^^ im pretty certain i did test that at one point and nothing happend but ill try again the next time it happens. I did try to "make it happen" again but i couldnt get it to yet. Edit: Actually, it doesnt. 1920x1102 seems to be the default resolution when ive set it to 1080p. I just deleted the log, started it, stopped it and that odd resolution appears in the logs. Server scaling gives me 2505x1348. mhmm Ive set it to 1920x720 and it sets it to 1922x792 and its supposedly to be "1920x768" bit funky. Now ive recreated the container a couple of times and this time, it shows Request toFront(window is active): jd.gui.swing.jdgui.JDownloaderMainFrame[MAINFRAME,0,0,1920x1080,invalid,layout=java.awt.BorderLayout,title=JDownloader 2,resizable,maximized,defaultCloseOperation=DO_NOTHING_ON_CLOSE,rootPane=javax.swing.JRootPane[,0,0,1920x1080,invalid,layout=javax.swing.JRootPane$RootLayout,alignmentX=0.0,alignmentY=0.0,border=javax.swing.plaf.synth.SynthBorder@49b5adc8,flags=16777673,maximumSize=,minimumSize=,preferredSize=],rootPaneCheckingEnabled=true] Request toFrontFocused(timer,toFront): jd.gui.swing.jdgui.JDownloaderMainFrame[MAINFRAME,0,0,1920x1080,invalid,hidden,layout=java.awt.BorderLayout,title=JDownloader 2,resizable,maximized,defaultCloseOperation=DO_NOTHING_ON_CLOSE,rootPane=javax.swing.JRootPane[,0,0,1920x1080,invalid,layout=javax.swing.JRootPane$RootLayout,alignmentX=0.0,alignmentY=0.0,border=javax.swing.plaf.synth.SynthBorder@49b5adc8,flags=16777673,maximumSize=,minimumSize=,preferredSize=],rootPaneCheckingEnabled=true] very bizarr why it was so stuck on the 1920x1102 for 2 recreates. Edit #2: @ich777 I got it to do the thing again! file3.log and heres the json log from Unraid file3-json.txt Ive also grabbed a video of it. I used the esc button, the esc button from the little menu, smashed enter in the middle of the screen but then, i left clicked on the icon Desktop 2023.09.22 - 14.36.27.01.mp4

  18. Which line are you talking about? I can only find 4 lines with the resolution check and they all seem fine. May I ask why you are posting the json log? Do you use another platform than Unraid? If so you can also dump the full log from the container with: docker container logs jDownloader2 > /path/to/file.log Are you sure that you simply can't press ENTER or ESC on that screen?

  19. Thanks to Mainfrezzer and JorgeB, issue seems to be solved, nonissues since Monday!

  20. Your log output shows that it can't find the jDownloader.jar file so it is basically installing it again. May I ask how the share is configured in terms of primary and secondary storage? Please double check if you have set it that it stays on the cache if you use the default path from the template /mnt/cache/appdata/... If you have set it to move it from the cache to the array then please change the path in the template to /mnt/user/appdata/... <- but I would rather recommend that you leave your appdata always on the cache drive to avoid spinning up the Array occasionally and to avoid weird behaviour. BTW I assume you could press the ESC or ENTER key if that screen appears.

  21. So we might have a winner here..... It's an oldie, but a goldie. Working through any and all possible troubleshooting, I disabled c-states in my bios and have had my first error free night in several weeks Not fully confirmed yet, and super confusing why this would impact my system now and not several years ago when this was actually a thing. Will report back and hopefully close out the thread if this turns out to be the actual solution.

  22. This is really strange, that shouldn't happen at all... Have you yet tried to restart the container and see if this also fixes the issue? If yes, disable the stop from the container if you have CA Backup set up <- this shouldn't harm anything for the jDownloader2 container. My assumption is that something messes up when it starts but it's really hard to debug, because well jDownlaoder2

  23. You can, note that speed will be limited to roughly 140MB/s with all disks used simultaneously.

  24. Have you tried advanced view on docker page, It will show orphan images and you can delete from there.

  25. Have you tried to press ESC or RETURN when this screen pops up? Would it be a viable solution for you to set the scaling mode in the VNC menu to server scaling? With this you can let the initial resolution at default and the screen will be always be resized accordingly to the window size from your browser. (click on the arrow on the left hand side, click on the gear icon, scaling, set to server scaling) However it should not have any mayor downsides to setting it to 1920x1080 What do you do to solve this issue usually?

  26. Have a look at the Appdata Backup plugin. I believe it will do what you want. If you have questions, ask them in the Support Thread.

  28. Yeah I've discovered this too (see my last comment) and have removed the variable entirely from the template. It's annoying that OpenProject aren't validating env variables to check they have a value first before using them 🙄 I'll either open a feature request for Unraid to add the ability to make template variables not be added to the container unless they have a value, or open a bug report with OpenProject to validate this variable before using it. Update: Opened a bug report on this and it has since been fixed with OpenProject and will be made available in the next patch release.

  29. I actually had to remove the "DATABASE_URL" label to get it to run. Leaving it blank, resulting in errors trying to connect to an undefined remote postgres server.

  30. It doesn't really have a look, I implemented the ability to add custom styles, so if you don't like the way it looks you can always use a custom style or create one of your own. This is the default style. And these are the settings that I used on those folders.

  31. You've confirmed disk activity detection specifically still works? Then I guess it still works some folks on version 6.12.X. So far there's about 5 people in this thread who's found it to be broken.

  32. Testing the S3 Sleep plugin - I setup a user script to wake it my backup unraid server (new) , do an rsync to it, and then let it sleep again according to the settings on the plugin. For some strange reason, it was sleeping too early. i saw a thread that maybe the array disks were not being read correctly, so I added all the array disks manually to monitor as per that thread. Then I thought I would test it out as I noticed some abnormal sleeping going in. I have the settings set like this : I started the emby container and simulated a failed main server - so wife has moved to the backup emby server (for when I am travelling). The disks all spun down except the one that was streaming the media, I was playing a movie, came back to it later, and movie frooze, unraid backup had gone to sleep..... Its like it is ignoring the active disk ? This is with 6.12.4 os also.

  33. Can I use a cache, log, special, spare and/or dedup vdev with my zfs pool? At this time (Unraid v6.12) they cannot be added to a pool using the GUI, but you can add them manually and have Unraid import the pool, a few notes: currently zfs must be on partition #1, for better future compatibility (though not guaranteed) recommend partitioning the devices first with UD. main pool should be created with Unraid, then add the extra vdev(s) using the CLI and re-import the pool available vdev types and what they do are beyond the scope of this entry, you can for example see here for more information. please note that since the GUI doesn't not support this it might give unpredictable results if you then try to replace one of pool devices, so if you plan to use this recommend for now doing any needed device replacement with the CLI. How to: first create the main pool using Unraid in this example I've created a 4 device raidz pool start array, format the pool if it's a new one, and with the array running partition then add the extra vdev(s) using the command line to partition the devices with UD you need to format them, but there's no need to use zfs, I usually format with xfs since it's faster, just format the device and leave it unmounted: to add a vdev to the pool use the CLI (need to use -f to overwrite the existing filesystem, always double check that you are specifying the correct devices, also note the 1 in the end for the partition), a few examples: - add a 2-way mirror special vdev zpool add tank -f special mirror /dev/sdr1 /dev/sds1 - add a 2-way mirror log zpool add tank -f log mirror /dev/sdt1 /dev/sdu1 - add a striped cache vdev zpool add tank -f cache /dev/sdv1 /dev/sdw1 - add a 2-way mirror dedup vdev zpool add tank -f dedup mirror /dev/sdx1 /dev/sdy1 - add a couple of spares zpool add tank -f spare /dev/sdb1 /dev/sde1 when all the vdev(s) are added to the pool stop the array, now you need to re-import the pool unassign all pool devices start array (check the "Yes I want to do this" box) stop array re-assign all pool devices, including the new vdev(s), assign all devices sequentially in the same order as zpool status shows, and don't leave empty slots in the middle of the assigned devices. start array existing pool will be imported with the new vdev(s):

  34. For anyone else, I got this working by the following chown -R nobody:users {DIR} then chmod - R 0777 {DIR}

  35. Unless your drives are empty and/or you don't care about their content, you should move the data to the array before changing the File System and back to the pools once the format is finished.

  36. This is normal behavior. When the parity sync passes the 2TB mark, your 2TB drives are not involved anymore, the same happens with your 3TB drives when the 3TB mark is passed. Those 2TB and 3TB drives will spin down after the inactivity time expires, set for those drives.

  37. Windows doesn't automatically install drivers for devices it doesn't have. Windows won't boot from a storage device that it doesn't have the drivers installed. Those two statements sum up your (and everyone else's) issue with moving an existing windows installation to a foreign hard drive controller type. You can solve this several ways. The wiki outlines one way, which is to temporarily set the boot drive to a slow compatible controller, and add a secondary volume using the fast virtio controller. Windows boots from the normal drive, sees the new hardware, and installs the drivers. Now that the drivers are installed, you can change the boot drive to virtio, and remove the temporary 2nd volume, as the necessary drivers are now installed in windows. Another way is to add the drivers manually into the windows install on the physical pc before you image it, or you can manually install them after booting the vm using the compatible controller. Adding the drivers manually is faster if you know how to do it, instead of futzing around with a second image.
