  1. I did contact support several days ago and no reply. I went to do it again and it prompted me to open a new topic in the general support forum for "quicker response" and so here I am.
  2. I need to recover my keys but when I log into my account I do not see anything in there. Unfortunately moving off of gmail I lost all my history prior to 2022 but I did see a few emails to Unraid support about my Pro license back in 2022. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.
  3. Hello all, sorry for the noob question but I have my NAS mapped in Unraid as an SMB share and that works but I just can't figure out how to make this "visible" to the Plex container (installed using defaults). Thank you for your help.
  4. noob to unraid and I wanted to setup OpenVPN so that it could connect to my VPN service (Mullvad) and I can route certain containers traffic to OpenVPN. I'm assuming that I need to install the client and not the server but when I did it asked to to add the Mullvad config file but while I can do the select file drop down it doesn't actually do anything. How do I upload the config file if this doesn't work?
  5. Ok thank you for that information you cleared up a few things for me. Got my setup inline with what you described and I got it working! Thank you SO much for your help.
  6. Hello all, complete UNRAID noob (just purchased license) and even more so with Docker. I am hoping to migrate my current plex server to this container and I've run into a few issues. I'm sure these are just due to a lack of knowledge on my part. container was not reachable to the rest of my home network. Changed network type to custom and assigned an IP. Port forward to this IP and it's now reachable to local servers and outside. Initially I wanted to use an SMB mapping to my current media NAS. After some research I mapped an SMB share (\\10.0.1.53\media) which works fine from my windows boxes in UNRaid. But when in the Plex app it can't find this media folder and I can't seem to manually point to it. I then found a post that I should add this share to the container as a "host path" and this is what I have: Config Type: Path Name: Media Share Container Path: /mnt/user/appdata/binhex-plexpass Host Path: //10.0.1.52/Media Access Mode: Read/Write But I still can't seem to be able to get this "visible" onto my plex container. Thank you for your time and assistance!
  7. Just as an FYI my PSU died (no warnings) and I found an inexpensive version that works (installs just fine needed two molex splitters). If you ask me it seems a touch louder than the stock but not a big deal. http://www.atxpowersupplies.com/250-watt-flex-atx-power-supply-FLEX-200W.php
  8. Thank you! I figured out it's just a version. OK not sure how to use the P19 version vs the P11 version posted here. It seems like the firmware is the same (at least the file name is the same) 2118it.bin. OK just replaced the files in the firmware to the newer version but alas I get the "Failed to initialize PAL" message. I found one other person that had success downloading the SAS2FLASH.EFI file from LSI and I gave that a try but I just keep getting wrong file name. I'll try another system next.
  9. I'm sorry if I missed this but I just want to be clear, I have a RS2WC080 that I want to flash into IT mode, I'm not sure what the differences are between the P10 and P11 files. Thank you in advanced for your help.
  10. I replaced the fans with Scythe Slipstream's made a big difference even though the fans on this were not the loudest I've ever heard before.
  11. So after my texts on the Seagate 7200RPM drives I settled on the REDS. I was very lucky that my work gets a great discount on drives so I got 12 of these at a sweet price. Just have to wait for my case and I'll be able to put this all together.
  12. Good question and I'm brand new to unraid but how does (if at all) unraid handle a SAN or iSCSI? If you could connect a SAN via an eSATA or SAS connector it would give you a relatively cheap way to add more storage (as you don't need a full PC just a SAN case, card, cable and drives).
  13. Anyone seen these? I've asked for more info (yet to hear back). No bling at all but pretty cheap for 12 bays. http://www.servercase.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HQ1200&Category_Code=Entry-Level+Server
