  1. I had an issue with my quad-port nic in my host this morning after a restart command, and had to power off the host.

My Asrock X570M Pro4 doesn't have any USB 2.0 ports in the rear. I've been running it on a USB 3.0 port since I built it last Jan2020.

  2. So, in the Dynamix Fan Auto Control plugin lists the fans attached to the CCP.  When I select one, and hit Detect on the PWM Fan entry, it returns the following:

<br /><b>Warning</b>: file_get_contents(/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.2/0000:02:00.0/0000:03:08.0/0000:06:00.3/usb3/3-2/3-2:1.0/0003:1B1C:0C10.0001/hwmon/hwmon2/pwm2_enable): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in <b>/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.system.autofan/include/SystemFan.php</b> on line <b>40</b><br /><br /><b>Warning</b>: file_put_contents(/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.2/0000:02:00.0/0000:03:08.0/0000:06:00.3/usb3/3-2/3-2:1.0/0003:1B1C:0C10.0001/hwmon/hwmon2/pwm2_enable): failed to open stream: Permission denied in <b>/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.system.autofan/include/SystemFan.php</b> on line <b>42</b><br /><br /><b>Warning</b>: file_put_contents(/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.2/0000:02:00.0/0000:03:08.0/0000:06:00.3/usb3/3-2/3-2:1.0/0003:1B1C:0C10.0001/hwmon/hwmon2/pwm2_enable): failed to open stream: Permission denied in <b>/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.system.autofan/include/SystemFan.php</b> on line <b>50</b><br />/sys/devices/platform/nct6775.656/hwmon/hwmon4/fan6_input

  3. Greetings,

I woke up this morning to see errors on my unraid (6.8.3) system that my cache disk is full.  I went to run the mover manually, and it immediately returned to the menu without the Move button being disabled.  I checked the logs, and all I see is:

    Jan 14 08:40:03 Juggernaut emhttpd: shcmd (189): /usr/local/sbin/mover |& logger &
Jan 14 08:40:03 Juggernaut root: Manually starting mover
    Jan 14 08:40:03 Juggernaut root: ionice -c 2 -n 0 nice -n 0 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.mover.tuning/age_mover start 1 0 0 '' ''
Jan 14 08:40:03 Juggernaut root: mover: started
Jan 14 08:40:03 Juggernaut root: mover: finished

I have attached the diag file, if someone can offer some wisdom.

Stock the docker service and you should be able to start the VM service, then you can re-start docker, if it doesn't work rebooting will fix it.

I realized I hadn't done a reboot yet, and everything looks like it's working again after the reboot.  Thanks for reminding me of the basics!

  5. I was attempting to migrate a vm from my Proxmox server to my new unRAID server.  I ran into problems with my attempt, when I was using the mover to get my cache drive the way I wanted it.  The VM I was trying to bring in had a vdisk of 320gb, and I had created a VM in unRAID with that parameter, so I could just swap in the vdisk file.  The folder for the vm ended up being too large to fit on my cache and I deleted the vm config folder from the share, then finished up my mover operations.  I attempted to bring the VM service back up after completing the cache moves, and it throws a 'Libvert Service failed to start'.  The logs pointed to the vm I purged, and I don't know enough about unRAID yet to attempt to bypass it or manually remove the definition.

If someone could point me in a direction, I'd be greatly appreciative.

I have attached my diagnostics if it helps.
