Ok so, i upgraded, reset config, ran a scan. It didn't find the UPS.

I have a new Tripp Lite UPS, i previously had an APC UPS configured and it worked fine. I can't seem to get NUT to work with my UPS. When i run Autodetect, it doesn't display anything and the Done button illuminates. When you click done, it selects Blazer_usb. I have tried both Tripplite_usb and Usbhid_ups. Neither worked. I ran lsusb and you can see in the attached image the UPS is connected. I have tried typing auto in for port as well. Any idea?

Yes, i rebooted. Docker was locked up. I forgot to pull diag before i did it.

Well, i think i have finally hit my point of no return for Unraid and i am going to find a different solution. The fact that after 5 years, it still is incredibly user unfriendly with a guides that are either out of date or are just a massive blog of text without a clear process on how to resolve issues. Thanks for taking the time to try to assist. I have never lost more data than i have with Unraid.

Well, i checked the drives and there was no file system so i formatted the drives and now when i started up it seems like all that data is gone and i am guessing gone from parity? I immediately stopped the array when that was the case, is there any way re-run the rebuild process?

I had two drives fail. I precleared two new disks that were mounted as UD. I then stopped the array, mounted those drives in the failed drives slots and started the array. I did not check the box for formatting the drives and then format. They show as unmountable filesystem, but the rebuild ran completely and per the read/write data it seems like it rebuilt that data and completed. But, the drives still show unmountable next to them and have the format option at the bottom. I thought Pre-clear formatted them already. How do i resolve this? I am getting constant alerts on my Deluge logs. I get constant disconnects during file transfers and using the proxy. So when i try to cancel via the web interface nothing happens, is there a cli command for cancelling safely before i reboot?

I had two drives have errors the other day, and they seem to be failing. During the rebuild i just had 1 drive have a shit ton of read errors. These drives are connected via a backplane, so less likely it is a cable. Anyway so the rebuild function hasn't moved at all as far as i can tell over the last few hours. Attached is the diagnostic. I had my server working for days and would boot fine. I have had an issue with my backplane, and one of the ports is bad. I replaced it, and started it back up and now i get this error and Unraid wont boot. Failed to allocate initramfs memory bailing out Booting kernel failed: bad file number I have no idea what this means, but i have tried another USB boot drive, and i have tried upgrading my bios. I have tried disabling UEFI, but i believe because i am using iGPU it will not allow this. The problem is, that it absolutely worked for weeks without this issue. I don't understand how UEFI could be the issue when it worked for weeks.

I am having an issue with my unassigned device share. It shows as sharing is enabled, but i can't view it as a share remotely. It has been a share with no change for a couple years now. I updated the Unraid O/S yesterday and it seems like now its not sharing it remotely. I can view the disk locally. tvserver02-diagnostics-20230308-1610.zip

When you go to that setting it currently says - Backup / Restore Status: Not Running Is there a way to manually check and abort it?

Its more drive failures, its fucked at this point. 10 i was able to reseat, but 18 is bad, i pulled it and tried to test it on another machine. Can i start the array at this point with the data that is on the functioning drives. If i understand correctly, nothing is affected on the existing data drives. This is due to a series of fan failures and drives overheated. Not much that can be done now i think.

I am guessing no good Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... superblock read failed, offset 0, size 524288, ag 0, rval -1 fatal error -- Input/output error

Currently it says the contents are emulated. What is the next step? Should a add the drives back and start the array?

They will mount, i guess i was just saying 11 and 15 have no usable data, i wouldnt think them having a filesystem would matter. You told me to unassign 11 and 15, so there would be no filesystem.

11 and 15 are not currently mounted and are brand new disks. i would think that would be the expected value. They started a rebuild that was stopped, what data is there should be garbage.
