  1. Oh, I forgot to mention - this morning I have completely replaced the RAM. Swapped it over with another 8GB Corsair set. 2x4GB DDR4 2400mhz. Still doing the same thing with the new set of RAM, so I doubt it's the RAM.
  2. Hi All, I am *really* *really* desperate for some help please. My unraid server keeps crashing and I'm all over the place. I'm really freaking desperate to the point where I'm willing to pay. I'm new to Unraid and I've gone through the posting suggestions but unfortunately I don't have any error logs as I keep having to hard reboot the server. Over the last couple of days, I rebuilt my server from scratch which I finished last night Different motherboard Same CPU + RAM Completely different case - mATX to full tower case Different PSU + cables Different SATA & SAS cables It booted up fine but one of the drives was disabled. So I started a rebuild on it but the GUI / web interface dropped out and I couldn't connect back into it. It also didn't respond to pings = "This site can't be reached" So I left it overnight and still nothing. So I hard rebooted it again and exactly same thing keeps happening. After I hard rebooted it and it came back on, a message popped up saying rebuild had been successfully completed but it still said there was an emulated drive. As soon as I start a rebuilt on the disabled / emulated drive - it crashes. There are also some really, really weird thigs with unassigned drives - like, there's a drive showing up as unassigned, able to be formatted etc BUT it's in the array and showing as green / normal etc. I *desperately, desperately, desperately* need some help please! I've attached two screenshots of what was on the screen last night the first time it crashed as soon as I started a rebuild.
  3. Hi All, Just started my unraid box earlier today - and I've just noticed I have a disabled disk. I did a reboot but it's still disabled. I've attached the diagnostics and smart logs. I did a short SMART test and it passed. Any advice / help? What exactly IS a disabled disk? Is the disk dead? What's happened to it? Edit - It's a 10TB disk but it's only got <6TB of data on it. Can I replace it / rebuild it with an 8TB disk? Or does it *have* to be a 10TB disk? Edit #2 - Could I move some of the data on other drives off / around, free up a 10TB drive and then use *that* drive to rebuild this disabled drive? Thanks! unraidmitx-diagnostics-20220423-1716.zip unraidmitx-smart-20220423-1716.zip
  4. Ohhh....so even though there physically AREN'T 13 devices *now* - the license only goes off what was connected at boot time?
  5. Yep, checked again just now - still says 'Plus' = not eligible
  6. No, nothing. What's there in the screenshots, is what's there. I did have an external hard drive enclosure connected at one point - but that was *weeks* ago, and it was just to copy stuff into unraid from backups.
  7. Hi All, My trial period has ended - when I go to purchase a license - it says that Plus is not available. Can anyone explain why? Plus is "up to 12 attached storage devices" I have 11 drives + the cache drive = 12. My understanding is that the USB drive that runs Unraid is not included. Thanks in advance!
  8. I am starting to lose faith in Unraid. First I waste money on buying TWO USB sticks that should work but don't (blacklisted). And now, OUT OF THE BLUE, Unraid is stating - "Missing Key File". I'm on a trial and now I've lost access to EVERYTHING. I follow the sign in steps...it says key recovered, but then says "missing key file"....I'm now also getting the error - "Fatal Flash Drive Error." This is absolutely ridicoulous. I've lodged a support ticket but it says the turn-around is 3 business days. I only JUST built the blody thing. BRILLIANT. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. What the hell do I do?
  9. I do not believe that's the case, unassigned / external drives do not count AFAIK. I'd like you to actually confirm that
  10. Hi All, Very simple yes / no question! As per subject heading. Does the 12 storage device limit for the Plus license include the cache drive as the 12 drives? Thanks!
  11. I am really, really frustrated / upset / pissed off. Purchased TWO USB drives: a 16GB Silicon Power & a Sandisk UltraFit 16GB. https://www.ple.com.au/Products/643283/Silicon-Power-Jewel-J35-16GB-USB-31-Gen-1-Flash-Drive---Hazelnut https://cplonline.com.au/storage/usb-keys/sandisk-sdcz430-016g-g46-cz430-16gbultra-fit-usb-3-1-flash-drive-black.html Downloaded and run USB creator - does not detect EITHER drive. Followed the OFFICIAL steps to MANUALLY create a USB drive: https://wiki.unraid.net/Articles/Getting_Started Booted with the Silicon Power dive - Unraid boots and says device is BLACK LISTED. What I want to say would give a priest an instant heart attack. The drive is BRAND NEW and was purchased less than TWO days ago. Specifically wanted these drives due to the small / compact form. I am so cheesed off.
