I have one question and one question only if I update to beta 35 is my Vm going to work again with my Nvidia 1050ti?

Don't suppose there's any updates on the VM problems I'm having I uploaded my diagnostics file a few days back. I can see its been downloaded not sure by who is there any chance the problem will be sorted soon? this would be greatly appreciated. I had lost my VM for 9 months prior to the 3 days it was working and now I have no VM again I got so excited... about it I made some purchases that I cant now use to the full ability or at all due to having no VM. Really need some closure on what's going on? thank you

I get this kind of thing (the part where stuff stops working in a VM etc for a good year or so, but it's worse in the current beta if that's what you're using) and find that rebooting the host usually fixes it. You may have to do a complete power off though to reset the hardware. Failing that, try deleting the vm template (not the disks) and recreating it. This is still for some reason needed to be done on a regular basis for me. Though Limetech said that it's not normal, but worth a try for you.
I tried turning it off completely but didn't do anything i'm back in the same boat i was in before it seems :-(

Hey all was just playing a game on my VM on the Tv and suddenly my VM switched its self off whilst in game and now it wont passthrough to TV i have these errors in my VM logs. Ive tried recreating VM using different machines q35 ect nothing seems to work

I had a devil of a time getting my Nvidia 1070 to passthrough until I used a second video card in the system to dump the BIOS from my card. I downloaded about a dozen BIOSes from the web, but could never make them work. After I used my own BIOS I was able to pull out the other card and run with just the one video card passed through to my VM.
Yeah I followed space invader videos for sorting out bios I’m thinking I might get a new 3000 series card when they come out but a mini itx version be a good edition to the system until then I’m a happy bunny with my gtx 1050 ti 😊

Yeah it’s still showing the same thing on htop 100% till I open a folder or do something that uses cpu power then it jumps to another thread with 100% any ideas?

Hey all
Playing with my VM today I noticed I have a pinned core at 100% which jumps around from core to core now and again whilst I’m using it if I leave the VM and don’t do anything it stays pinned at 100% and then doesn’t jump around is this a GUI bug cause if It was pinned surely it would stay pinned?

Yeah Ryzen 3900x I did find ways on the forum which got VNC working but couldn’t get anything on the TV it was a nightmare to say the least I tried loads of different things but I’m glad it’s sorted now I tried changing passthrough to model I tried different lines I found on here and they got VNC to work but that was it 👍🏻

Yeah i used space invader ones video to setup awhile back I’d been using it to game on for probably 5 months before I got the probs but I just updated to beta 29 and VM is back and running well atm so Call of duty Cold War here I come thanks for the new update unraid team pls don’t do that to me again...

Hey chess the work around worked for vnc for me but it wouldn’t pass through to the tv yet 6.8.3 I could passthrough to tv fine since going to beta I lost the ability I tried many fixes on here and it didn’t happen best I had was VNC and I can’t get that anymore

Hey all I’m in same position only way I can get the VM to boot is via vnc and using a command line. I get no signal through hdmi when trying to boot Vm driving me crazy!!!!!

I can’t access the gui through the network at all when trying to passthrough graphics I’m using a 1050ti and a tv to game with in the recent 6.9.0 beta 1 I had a weird hdmi/usb issue where I had take out hdmi cable put it back in then had screen back on with VM but somehow lost a usb device was very weird but on beta 22 I can get the VM to work using the qemu line but can’t see anything but unraid start up on tv via the hdmi no signal coming through at all for VM usually it turns off unraid screen ect then goes straight to windows screen I thought passthrough might solve these issues cause it’s been suggested on the beta 22 release info I’m sure this is something unraid will sort soon 6.8.3 was awesome for my VM but with no system temps had to upgrade I can access VM though VNC but that’s about it

is this the same issue I’m having?? is there more detailed instructions on where to add the line in the Xml cause I’ve tried the line and I get tainted high privileges error Id=7
