Had forgotten about this for a while, but it seems the site maintainer requested the removal, in case anyone was wondering or had the same issue.

Post your logs, redacting your username/password for your VPN provider.

Has the magdl.com indexer disappeared for anyone else? Had this set up but seems to have gone after a recent update, I think. Trying to track back to find out exactly when but no joy so far

There must be something else going on, I'm not sure how this container could mess up your full connection 😕 What happens when you edit that section for the download limit?

Not sure if anything else needs removed, tbh, only aware of the user name & password part.

Edit 'config folder\rtorrent\config\rtorrent.rc' in notepadd++ I only edited my upload rate, by un-commenting the throttle line. I don't mind the download being unlimited, but you can do that:

You've not removed your PIA username & password, I'd change them & upload the log again after redacting them. Not sure what the issue is, sorry, but you may want to use an alpha-numeric password only. Few folks had issues with it has special characters lately.

Since the bump up to v3, has anyone else been having issues when adding torrents where it just stays in your download client as 'meta'? Never happened until v3, I've checked with stuff that downloaded fine just before it changed & now it's just sitting there as meta. Previously, it'd show this briefly, then change to the torrent name and download. Strange.

Couple of folk have had this, but if your password is more than 99 chars, I think, it has issues - if it is, try changing it to something smaller

Although France should support this, have you tried changing to a different end point, just to test it? Have you used the most up to date certs as well? (I'm not sure if this makes a difference, tbh, but I can't see a reason why it would state the next gen France server, then later list some legacy servers.... but I'm not the best at reading the logs!)

Getting the same as above after the update

I'd change your PIA user/password, you've posted them in the docker command 😕 I'm not 100% certain, but (I think) the error 'Address already in use' usually means you have a port in the command which is already in use by another container.

I'm current using it without a video card: I'm not particularly familiar with MacOS, so it's helping me learn my way around it..

You have your VPN provider set to PIA, not sure if this is the only issue 2020-11-21 12:02:16.199654 [info] VPN_PROV defined as 'pia'

Edit a field, then change it back (Eg. Change '8113' to '8112', then back) & hit Apply. Copy the 'Command' content when it finishes.

I had 0 problems since moving to Wireguard until a couple of hours ago when I had to restart the container... but it connected just fine and had no problems since. Was getting the "unable to download JSON" or something (I really should keep a note of these before restarting, sorry!) EDIT: Sorry, I should add, I use the rTorrent container now, instead of DelugeVPN, but I figured it was an issue with PIA

No, I just set it up as pretty much default, except I'm using Wireguard instead of OVPN.

[Support] binhex - DelugeVPN
You're still using the legacy OVPN file/servers. You need the new 'next gen' files from PIA. See Q19 here: https://github.com/binhex/documentation/blob/master/docker/faq/vpn.md

I've tried this before with no solution... most it done was increase from 600-800Kbps to ~1.1Mbps. Cheers, though, & I'm glad you got it sorted!

Are you using your main PIA log in credentials or the SOCKS/Proxy generated credentials?

I had a similar issue with Deluge & I'm also on Virgin Media. Couldn't figure out why I was getting such slow speeds (~600-800Kbps), so I ended up moving to Binhex's rTorrent container & have had no problems with speed since, downloads at around 90% of my connection speed. Keen to find it out you figure this out, it was doing my head in 😂
