After failing for some months to make my R9 380 VFIO to work, i bought a RX 480 8gb Nitro+ from ebay (refurbished.... £69.99 which is good price...) I managed to make passthrough work on CLover with Lilu/Weg and very simple clover config and Penryn CPU. This desktop has Ryzen 3600 chipset. Please could you give me an easy config to go from Clover to Opencore? If it can support my CPU and gpu Combination that would be great. I am happy to snapshot the VM and then t ry it with the new config & Opencore EFI. Please help. Thanks!

yes, all my kexts Lilu/WEG/Clover are updated. I boot to no screens connected

My VFIO r9-380 does not work with mojave or catalina, and when i try and pass a rom file, it reboots the whole system (the entire host) and takes down vm's ect. without rom file it loads but doesn't do anything, has no vram, and has not monitor attached. i can only see/talk to the mac install via rdp or spice. i have tried debugging whatevergreen with -raddvi and other functions, but i think clover may be standing in the way of vfio. at this point i wanted to try another boot loader to see if i can get the graphics card to work. without VFIO the machine is pointless. I am trying to use this guide to get a graphics card to work in the first place. and then later i will try and do the HEVC stuff!

Hello, do you know where i can get an Opencore config.plist file? I am wanting to switch my clover to opencore, but do not know how to make the config file for this (want to switch clover to opencore)
