  1. Hello, I have been attempting to boot unRAID multiple times today, and I am consistently running into the same issue: The IP Address is a 169 / I am unable to connect to the unRAID server web GUI on another device. See attached both the latest diagnostics file and a picture of the "df" command below. I'm kind of new to all of this, so I don't really know how to read either. I have done the following: Ensured the Ethernet cable works (works with other device) Tried different ports for the Ethernet (both 5G and Gigabit ports on motherboard and on each of the ports on my 5 port TP-Link unmanaged switch) Tried deleting Network Config and booting Ran "Make Bootable" Batch and booted Tried booting as a static IP I was able to boot in GUI mode, and tried adjusting network settings, but nothing worked. It was able to see all of my hard drives/NVMe ports, but when I tried to manually type the Community Applications Plugin URL, it said it had network issues Additional info about setup: SanDisk Cruzer Fit 32 GB formatted as FAT32 ASRock x370 Motherboard NetGear CM700 Modem unRAID v 6.8.2 Is there an issue with the USB mounting? Is it a BIOS error? Should I try an earlier version of unRAID? Thanks for any and all help! zeus-diagnostics-20200206-1004.zip
  2. Should I boot in GUI mode or one of the safe modes rather than just base unRAID OS? See above diagnostics, etc.
  3. @trurl @itimpi Thank you for your support! Attached are the diagnostics of different boot attempts I've done (base network config, deleted network config, network config edited based on one of the comments of a similar post, and latest boot attempt). I also attached a picture of the "df" command (didn't know how to copy that over to my windows computer). I have a netgear modem going to a 5 port unmanaged switch with one output to my google wifi mesh network and another going to my server. The motherboard has both a 5G port and a gigabit port. I've attempted to boot using both. Not too experienced with this kind of stuff, so I'm not too sure how to check/edit Bios/Drivers. zeus-diagnostics-20200206-0616.zip zeus-diagnostics-20200206-0556.zip zeus-diagnostics-20200206-0509.zip zeus-diagnostics-20200206-0531.zip
  4. Hello, I am new to unRAID and trying to set up my server. Every time I boot, the process provides a 169 IP address under IPv4 and the IPv6 address is "not set" I've looked everywhere, and it seems like people with similar issues have been related to the USB. My Motherboard is an ASRock x370 Gaming Pro. Internet, while only 1 GB / sec seems to properly be linked to modem / activity link LEDs are active USB is 32GB SanDisk Cruzer Fit set to FAT32 and unRAID version is 6.8.2 I used unRAID USB Creator for Windows to make the boot USB. I also tried again after running the "Make Bootable" Batch file as admin. When I enter "root" at login on the server, it just goes to "root@Tower:~#" and it is not accessible via Web GUI. Same result in multiple USB ports I've tried editing the Network Config to make "Bonding" set to "No" and same results Since all of the motherboard ports seem to be USB 3.0, I just ordered a new 4 port USB 2.0 slot plate adapter to try that. Does anyone have any other suggestions to try? Thank you for your help!
