  1. asgard-diagnostics-20230131-1441.zipCould someone possibly help me diagnose what might be causing me issues? I previously had some bad hard drives and they have since been replaced. I'm noticing more and more though that my server freezes or hangs randomly. This usually presents as my plex server no longer being connected to the media libraries (Plex server on a different machine, unraid machine just has the media), which leads me to try and login to the unraid server. I'm typically able to log in fine but trying to do anything (even just navigating to the dashboard) will display a white screen for random amounts of time. Sometimes 2 minutes, sometimes 30. Eventually it will start working again without me doing anything. I'm not sure what to look for. Can anyone take a look at my logs and see if there are obvious hardware malfunctions? thanks in advance!
  2. Things have escalated, my parity sync is frozen and I'm having a *lot* more errors now. Dashboard is also showing some funky numbers... like this asgard-diagnostics-20221028-0857.zip
  3. Follow-Up: I went ahead and followed the "Remove Drives Then Rebuild Parity" Method. Parity-Sync is in-progress now. I'll report back after it's all done and see if I'm still getting the same errors I had before, without these 3 drives installed. It's a 12TB Parity Drive so it's estimating about a full 24hours.
  4. I know nothing shows in the logs. I'm still having these problems though. I am getting errors on 3 different disks now and I'm wondering if they could be causing the problem? Maybe I should just get rid of them. If I'm OK with losing the data on these three disks, which method of shrinking the array would you recommend? (They're pretty low usage, ~1.5TB total. I can restore the data by other means quicker than I can scatter the data with unBalance)
  5. Alright, so earlier I did this and moved the cache drive to another bay. Unfortunately, my issues are not resolved. I haven't seen the docker service error I had previously posted pop up again yet but the docker containers are intermittently unreachable. Every minute or two I will get SABnzbd saying it lost connection, my Plex server (different machine) will stop playing and freeze because it can't read the content off of the unraid box anymore - then after a few minutes it will resolve. Do you have any other tips on what I should do? Here's another diag from just now, one of these intermittent blackouts just happened a minute ago. I truly appreciate your assistance. Thank you asgard-diagnostics-20221025-1530.zip
  6. Ok, I'll take a look at this. Am I able to just shutdown and move the cache drive into a different bay?
  7. They are working fine and stay working after a reboot -- but it will not take very long and they will crash again like that screenshot I initially posted
  8. asgard-diagnostics-20221025-0950.zip Thank you for getting back to me @JorgeB I rebooted and have attached the new diag
  9. Hi all, I've recently had all kinds of errors pop up in my system. I have 14 disks in Unraid and my disk #8 had failed not long ago. I haven't been able to replace it yet and it's contents are being emulated. Unfortunately, now I'm having issues with two other disks I think (looks like #6 and #7) and I'm seeing weird Docker errors I've never run across before. If I reboot the system, everything will be fine for a while and eventually I will see this (completely random): I've attached the diagnostics file here. If anyone can help me save whatever is possible and get my machine back in a stable condition, I would greatly appreciate it asgard-diagnostics-20221025-0831.zip
  10. I'm sorry I should have posted this in application support I think. I can't figure out how to delete it to move it to the right place.
  11. I read the guides on how to create a second docker of the same application; in this case Radarr. I thought I followed everything perfectly but it's still not working right. I get the docker loaded but when I try to access the Web UI, it just shows a "This site can't be reached" error. Thank you so much... You guys have been really helpful already over the past week I've been setting up my Unraid server.
  12. I have a 24-bay chassis right now and am just getting started with Unraid. I have 3 larger drives set up right now - 12tb, 8tb and 6tb. I also have some small drives laying around that aren't doing anything (like a 500gb I just pulled out of a hp 290, for example). Is it worth it to fill empty bays with tiny drives like that and plan to replace them later, or do you guys avoid putting "junk" drives in your array? Thanks
  13. tower-diagnostics-20200219-2108.zipUgh. Well, while trying to self-diagnose and troubleshoot this, I managed to make one of the drives that was showing "No File system" now shows "Unmountable: Unsupported partition layout"...
  14. Yes, I did all three at the same time. One went properly and the other two didn't. I tried a couple additional times, too and nothing changed.
  15. Ok i completed formatting but now only one of the three drives will mount. two say no file system. tower-diagnostics-20200219-1702.zip
  16. Thank you, all drives are formatting to 512 now. I’ll know if it worked in about 10 hours I guess but I’m sure you’re right.
  17. tower-diagnostics-20200218-2034.zipOk done!
  18. Hello, I'm building my first Unraid server and I put three 3tb drives in but they're not appearing as options for the array. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I've tried researching it on my own and am getting nowhere. The drives show in BIOS and in the system devices show like this: [0:0:0:0]disk Kingston DataTraveler 2.0 1.00 /dev/sda 15.5GB [11:0:0:0]disk SEAGATE DKS2D-H3R0SS 4F0D /dev/sdc - [11:0:1:0]disk SEAGATE DKS2D-H3R0SS 4F0D /dev/sdd - [11:0:2:0]disk SEAGATE DKS2D-H3R0SS 4F0D /dev/sde - syslog attached.. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated syslog.txt
