To format disks in the array Stop the array, on each disk in Main, click and set the file system from "Auto" (what it probably is right now and everything is formatted as XFS) to anything other than XFS or XFS encrypted (eg: BTRFS). Start the array and in the little warning click the check box and then the Format Button. After they're all done, stop the array again and switch them all to XFS (don't use Auto). They'll get formatted now as XFS (which is what I'd recommend in the array) Formatting is purposely while not exactly hidden, not obvious (due to the inherent danger of it)

I'd first reseat your AsMedia HBA. If that doesn't fix it then from Main, Boot Device, Click on Flash then Syslinux configuration then on whatever section has the radio button selected, add in pci=noaer as shown below to the end of the append linedwaq

If a file(s) is in use on the disk in question, it will not spin down. Usually this is due to appdata being spread out onto the array, but diagnostics might help figure it out

In settings - Network settings, try disabling bonding

Because with reconstruct write enabled, every write will automatically spin up every drive. With the plugin, you can set it to only switch to reconstruct mode if a certain number of drives are already spinning. If they're not then it'll leave it as the normal method (save power). FWIW, I don't ever bother spinning down any drive ever, so always have reconstruct write enabled. A hair more for power consumption, but longevity of the drives is far longer due to no stress involved in spinning stuff up. (Akin to a light bulb will last damn near forever if you never turn it off)

Things have changed in 7.2.0 stable and the plugin itself and the method it used simply put won't work any more. The plugin did have issues in certain circumstances (wouldn't work if the array was stopped). Shortly (soonTM) I don't think that this plugin will even be required anymore.

No. One of the upshots of 7.2 is that theming is far far easier because the entire GUI's CSS is all using variables for the colours. Plugins though if they have custom CSS will take time to catch up to support the gui's css vars. While it's easy to re-theme, the nature of this plugin isn't really compatible with how it's done in 7.2. Unfortunately, I don't really have any time to be able to do a replacement. But anyone is welcome to create a replacement plugin for 7.2 and have it published in CA

When you see the failed to write / rename being logged, try it again. If it happens again, then go to Plugins, Install Plugin and enter in this URL https://preview.dl.unraid.net/pr-plugins/pr-2446/webgui-pr-2446.plgThen try it again. Same error should be logged, but with more information. Then repost your diagnostics. Your issue may be related to why some people have SMB settings reset after reboots. I can't replicate your issue, nor the SMB issue.

By design. Changes needed to be made for responsive, and that slider button was always hacked into the title bar there, and became a very big problem to put back in, especially if docker compose plugin was installed

FWIW, Tried several ways to replicate this and can't do it. Only thing I can possibly think of is if you happen to have Authoring Mode selected in Settings - Docker and then when editing the container hit "Save" instead of "Apply". Glad it's working, but if you ever see this again, posting the docker run command would've given the path that is actually being used.

@all I wondering how easy is it to set up Unraid from scratch in China. Specifically, are there any issues that need to be done to have the OS be able to install Community Applications? With any version of CA from this year, does it take an inordinate amount of time to be able to download the application feed? By "issues", do you have to on initial setup, set up a proxy or assign addresses to the hosts files for CA to work properly? Issues with regards to installing docker containers from with CA itself I'm not worried about right now -> just getting CA to work in addition to if nothing needs to absolutely be done to get CA to work are there any issues to install Unraid Connect from within CA?
