  1. Thanks @Squid, appreciate the help and patience. I found a back up from June (06/24) saved on my desktop - I think I replaced the USB drive then and this was saved for that. So can I use anything from this? The config folder and disk assignments should be pretty accurate.
  2. Yes the USB backup is on the array, under a share. So please bear with me: What do you mean by - Assign ALL drives as DATA drives. I have never checked the USB Backup location before this, just trusted the Appdata Backup plugin to do its work, is there any way to check the contents in that drive, ls command doesn't work. Just wondering if the backup is not there, then what? I haven't yet powered the system down, because I am afraid I will loose access to shares and dockers and their configs, db's. So anything I need to do before shutting the system down. Download or move stuff?
  3. So I did execute rm -rf \* on accident and then stopped it pretty quickly (<2s), and the command generated a bunch of cannot remove messages, now the Web UI doesn't work, but the shares, docker containers all seem to be live and working. I do have my appdata and USB backup folder but the USB Backup permissions doesn't seem to be correct and I can't run chmod or almost any command from the terminal - it says command not found. How do I fix this without having to reconfigure everything again?
  4. No worries. Was struggling to find a solution there hence though i would try here. Seems the answer for any one trying this is here just add :plexpass to the respository name.
  5. Hi - I’m new to docker, so wanted to double check if I am doing something incorrectly. I am currently running the PMS version Version: 1.19.5.3112 and hosting the server on unRAID using the plexinc/pms-docker, I have set VERSION=beta in the docker config and I’m a plexpass customer. However, after restarting the container multiple times PMS is not getting updated automatically, and I get the server update available message every time I log into my PMS webUI. I had initially created the container with VERSION=latest and have since then edited to all other values - beta, plexpass and public but none of those seem to update the PMS. Any help is appreciated - what is the right way to automatically update PMS to the latest available beta or public versions?
  6. Hi All, Getting the following when trying to access the WebUI for the headless server. I just replaced a failed drive and the new disk was getting rebuilt, i was able to access and monitor rebuild progress for about 10 minutes before the webUI returned this error. Shares and Docker apps are all accessible still. Any ideas on how to fix the WebUI without having to restart the server? I tried clearing the cache and using a different browser on the computer I am trying to log in from, but did not work. 7. Interesting. My error popped up a few weeks after the upgrade finished successfully, so not sure if its related to the upgrade. It actually popped up when I was trying to upgrade a plugin, not sure why none of the plugins or anything else are on the flash drive. so not sure if that was a coincidence. I guess I will get/find a new one and get ready to replace.
  8. Thanks. Yes I created a backup now. The drive is working and showing green - Should I replace it or continue using it?
  9. Hello - just got his error on my boot USB drive - I would appreciate some help in understanding what the 2 errors below mean. Thanks in advance. 10. Tried pointing the /config to /appdata/plex/config/ but no luck still the same. Since I'm now pointing the docker to the same Plex folder that the plugin had created, based on itmpi's suggestion - they would be the same, right? After testing the docker and seeing that it is asking me to start from scratch, I stop it and revert back to the plugin by starting it and everything works flawlessly. No idea what is going on. Thanks for all your help so far.
  11. Thanks! Tried that - docker mappings below. Changed the /config folder to the same location as the plugin folder appdata/plex. Edited the container mapping as trurl suggested - both container and hot mapping is now pointing to /mnt/user/. Still Plex does not get old settings, plugins and library - it starts up as a fresh brand new install and asks to add libraries.
  12. Thank You! Trying this now. I am starting with a new docker image. Here is what I updated the media mapping to look like: Question - what all files from the old appdata/plex (plugin) folder should I copy over to the new docker folder appdata/PlexNew?
  13. Tried reading through - not sure I understand the fix. Not understanding this - is this relevant to my docker setup - if it is then please explain what am I changing the existing Media mapping to?
  14. Sorry for the late reply - been out on work. Thanks for that link - referring to it now. Funny i did not find that thread while searching the forum. I am on the most up-to-date stable version of Unraid 6.6.7
  15. Hi All, I tried to find an answer in the posts here but did not have a lot of success. found one close to my issue in the Plex forums and tried those steps. Objective: Migrate my Plex plugin (PhAzE's plugin) to a docker (any docker is fine but I tried with the LinuxServer one) while retaining the history and the configuration. I backed up the Plex folder from my cache/appdata/ folder (screenshot below), then installed the docker with the settings below and copied over the old plex directory to the /config location and started the container. But I'm not getting the old settings and library migrated over. Instead i'm getting a fresh config - Add a Library - in the WEB UI. What am I doing wrong? All help is appreciated. Thanks in advance for all suggestions. P.S: I delayed migrating till now because of this issue of having to start setting up everything again in Plex and loosing all my viewing history and configuration. I have my Trakt account linked to Plex - so maybe it isn't as hard as I think it would be. Also does any one know whether the support for Phaze's plugins has ended? I loved using the Plugin but it is not updating to the latest version of Plex anymore - the update script errors out with "Unable to obtain download url"
  16. Yeah it doesn't happen on other browsers. Edge and Chrome on Android works just fine. So I will ignore it. It could be one of the addon scripts causing the issue. Also to check the version I don't see a tools button on the home page - sorry I might be looking at the wrong place.
  17. @ninthwalker - this is a great tool - so thank you. The folder images on my WebGUI disappears as soon as I hover over them, the information and the hyperlink to IMDB still works as intended. It looks like this when I first access the page: After I Hover over the movies it looks like this: Any idea why this is happening - I am using Chrome to access the WebGUI. All help appreciated.
  18. No reboot doesn't work (see the quote below) - it says the system is now rebooting or powering down but nothing happens and I have to physically reboot and restart, then I get an unclean shutdown detected. No diags in flash. I can run them now (after the unclean shutdown) and post.
  19. Been running for few hours - nothing. Tried stopping and re-running still nothing.
  20. Okay pre-cleared and rebuilt that drive and everything was working well for a couple of days - but it went down again today morning. Shares are inaccessible and the web-gui won't connect but telnet connects and works well. Any idea what is going on?
  21. Thanks for the information. That is what I thought - slowly replacing all of them one by one. ( I will have 5 more to go after this one). I will report back in a week or so if the issue is resolved after the drive is replaced and data is restored (fingers and toes crossed). Thanks for all your help - to everyone who contributed.
  22. Okay - is this one any better (I am guessing not). This is an unassigned drive in the system which has been pre-cleared already. Wondering whether I should swap them and rebuild while I wait for the new one to arrive? ST3000DM001-9YN166_Z1F0GEMK-20170711-1338.txt
  23. Thanks for the link. That seems to be a long and involved process. Might take me a while to get it done. In the meanwhile here are the file system check reports - no corruptions on any of the 12 data disks. But I did notice that disk 3 has a 'Failing Now' on one of the smart attributes. Not sure if that is the cause for all this. Is that drive dying? FileSysChk.7z ST3000DM001-9YN166_W1F0F71L-20170711-1147.txt
