Hi, Last time i defraged was many unRaid versions ago, so i cant say when its stopped working. Hi, every day i get this "root: Fix Common Problems: Warning: Write Cache is disabled on disk8" Disk8 is actual disk 8 in the array? I tested every disk with that command that the plugin links to, and it says that cache is ON. But every day im getting a report that cache is off

Hi, After updating to rc8 the mover stopped working, [i use it manfully]. Uninstalling this plugin solved the issue.

So far after uninstalling the plugin and updating to rc8, mover works fine, and so far no such errors in the log, if they appear ill open a new post, for now this is solved and for other people that have such issues the solution is to uninstall the plugin or wait for update. Thanks

Hi, After updating to rc8 from r6 the mover stopped working, on rc 6 i had same errors in the log but mover worked. More info: Virtualization and docker always disabled, I rebooted the PC bunch of times. I have 2 cache pools, main cache is x4 1tb SSD RAID5 BTRFS and 500gb encrypted SSD for the single encrypted HDD that I have. I always run the mover manually, this PC is either off or sleeps most of the time, so when im done copying i run mover and let it do its thing, saves me time. Hi, Im confused about ZFS implementation. It only let us create arrays as pools/cache and thats it? Is there anyway to add an SSD to such pool for cache? Or create a ZFS RAIDZ and add it to unraid array? and then use normal ssd cache like we used to? My plan is to migrate my array into ZFS for speed, create 3 RAIDz arrays, each 3+1, and speed them up with SSDs, either old style like we used with unraid or i heard that ZFS has a function to add ssd cache, but i cant find any info how its done on unraid Thanks

Hey, so i have LSI 9201-8i right now [PCIe 2.0] it works fine and enters S3 sleep, even better than Intel SATA when go out of sleep the drives connected to it just wake up, the drives connected to Intel and JMB always show these errors before waking up the HDDs. The issue is that my card had one of the metal thingies that hold the cable broken, and i instead of soldering back threw it out. So i need a new card and im thinking if im buying one, why not get PCIe Gen 3.0? I need a new UPS too, I have simple ups [EasyUPS from APC] right now for the unraid it has no USB and no special UPS sockets like you plug cables into, but 4 international sockets, the model is APC BV1000i-MCX, these look likle they meant to be used for TV's and otehr equipment that just plugged in. And for my Gaming PC i have some Chinese [Armor Line] model that uses 2 batteries that i replaced to good ones already, i think its 1200W, but the USB is non standard and only works with their idiotic software, i tested with unraid and it doesn't work. Yesterday we had a power outage for like 3 minutes, and i noticed that i can't turn off my unraid, the router and switch is down so i have no access to the web menu. So i think i need to use the unRaid's EasyUPS for my network equipment, than take my old gaming pc 1200W ups and use it for unraid and get something good 2000W with good USB for my gaming PC [13900K, 4090, custom loop, dual pumps, 12 fans and so on] so it needs a good UPS, especially if power goes out when im gaming, so it wont end the battery in like 2 minutes while im turning the game off, i want something that uses at least 3-4 batteries, maybe one of the UPS models that feed the PC directly 24/7, but i heard these models eat batteries faster then standard UPS models, so they end up expensive? we can have a full year without any outages, on bad year we can have 1-2, but what we have like at least once every 2 months and sometimes on bad days like 3-5 times a day, Micro outage that like if someone turned OFF and On, you know like 1 second outage, so for my PCs the current UPS were doing fine dealing with something like this.

im using phanteks 719 case now, it has cages at the front, 12 cages so i have x4 120mm fans blowing at them i think i set to 700rpm its enough and i have x2 140W blowing up, out of the case, cpu has one 120mm and i have small 20 or 40mm fans, one on 10G network card heatsink and one on LSI HBA heatsink In theory i can in stall x3 140mm fans in the front, instead of the four 120mm Need to check which ones i have, i do have a bunch but they like with RGB, i have some noctuas [like on the top] but not 3 extra for the front, maybe 2 more for sure We pay 0.14GBP per kilowatt, but we [3 people] use a lot, at lest i think its a lot winter [no room heating but we do heat water] we have between 700-950Kw for 30 days. Summer time with 2 ACs at peak we had 1600Kw for 30 days and summer is long here till the end of October

Hello, I just got Tuya smart sockets and they pair troughs wifi with phone app, most people use them to remotely on/off and schedule function but they have power monitor and thats what i need them for. Im getting 150W on boot, 130W on idle with all HDD's on and 70W when I turn off ALL hdds and ssds except single U.2 4Tb enterprise drive that just doesn't turn off [maybe it has internal devsleep function or something] My spec is in my signature, CPU set to 50W in bios in unraid power settings i think unlocked with some plugin i set the power preset to power save so it downloads the CPU When i had a PSU with USB that would show how much watt is used, my main PC on idle with 4090 and 13900K used 50-70W with dual pumps and rgb,12 fans and all that I installed power top on unraid and manually enabled it on all devices except hard drives and non intel SATA cards otherwise they hang when they go off they wont turn on Any ideas?

I found a script here on forum that does automatic defrag. The userscrips thingy doesn't have a proper scheduling option, only some basic presets like on boot, once a day [when once a day?] and it has custom field. But no description of how its done. Do you know how to set up manual schedule? say if i want the script to run every day at 09:00 in the morning

I tried to defrag with parity on, its slow and it started to utilize the automatic Turbo write, i defarged a single drive but all the array was working. What will happen if before staring the array i remove both parity drives from the list and start the array without them? Can i later add them back without running full parity cycle?
