Migrating from xfs to zfs filesystem
Great questions, 1) I have experience with zsf in a Truenas environment (my cli experience is limited) 2) zpool data lost of more than one disk would be disastrous 3) system would have 48gb of memory, my truenas box has 32gb and doesn't seem to bottleneck 4) don't want spun up disk 24/7 xfs has been rock solid, sounds like your saying "if it ain't broke"!

Migrating from xfs to zfs filesystem
I have been running Unraid on xfs pool for seven years. Unfortunately the hardware setup afforded by my Dell Poweredge R710 is starting to show its age. More and more current day software is requiring chipsets not present in the Xeon X series of processor requiring me to either work around or abandon applications. The single parity drive setup has saved me and my data numerous time, the ability to use various size of drives in an array is game changing. But now I must upgrade! Moving to the Xeon E series process solves most if not all of my chipset requirement. Also I was able to remedy another problem replaced to the cost of running servers, drive replace cost. The R710 is 2.5 inch form factor. The cost of 2.5 inch disk have skyrocketed. The newer unit shifts to a 3.5 inch form factor reducing disk drive replacement cost by more than half. Which get me to why I am posting here: Under normal circumstances one would just pull the boot USB and all of the data drives, place them in the new unit, re-boot and be in business. But with the form factor change this isn't possible or (easily made possible). Since I am having to moving 10TB off the old array to setup a new array, it seems like a opportunity to migrate to zfs. Single parity xfs has been rock solid. Other than snapshots and replication Is this a lot of work for little reward?

2nd flash drive failure in one week (the odds don't support this happening)
thanks all, pulled usb drive and ran surface scan, no errors found flash drive still good. Recopied config from backup (in case something got corrupted). Reinserted, booted up and and all is good.

2nd flash drive failure in one week (the odds don't support this happening)
Unraid has been rock solid for me for years, other than the occasional hard drive failure. I recently (last week) replaced a corrupt flash drive. All was well until today when my system froze. The message from the system "The flash drive is corrupt or inaccessible". I have attached diagnostics hoping to understand the underlying issues before I start the paid process of replacing the flash drive, obtaining a new key and reconstructing the system. problem w/Nvidia Plugin
I am aware of the SSD read errors and do have a backup. It's part of a pool I just been procrastinating on the replacement. thanks

problem w/Nvidia Plugin
This issue is not isolated to the Nvidia plugin. I am unable to install or uninstall any plugin. Possibly a problem with the plugin installer.

problem w/Nvidia Plugin
I posted to the plugin section and was ultimately advised to post in the generation support area. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/98978-plugin-nvidia-driver/page/220/#findComment-1603022. Just looking for some help? mercury-diagnostics-20260119-1810.zip

problem w/Nvidia Plugin
My system has been running the Nvidia plugin for several years with no issues. Recently, last week, notification of a nvidia driver upgrade was implemented and issues pursued. It appears the new driver is not compatible with hardware. I have been working with https://forums.unraid.net/profile/72388-ich777/ hoping to resolve a problem with the Nvidia driver. I tried to remove the plugin and upon reboot it reappears. 1) with plugin (see screen shot below) one should be able to rollback by selecting previous version and clicking update (that does not work) 2) uninstall and reinstall plugin to reinitialize. It uninstalls but upon reboot is reappears. Hware: Dell Poweredge server GSU: Nvidia P2000. This should not be an issue, rollback to the previous working driver version and keep moving. Again, the plugin wont uninstall nor take change (rollback) to previous version.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
attached is the diagnostics, also when I select a previous version of the driver I get the message attached earlier regarding v590.xx already downed loaded. it does appear to be something problematic with the plugin. mercury-diagnostics-20260119-1810.zip

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
From the plugin page I select v580 (open source) as its listed as an available driver and I get the attached. Remember I uninstalled the plugin, reboot and the plugin reappears after reboot.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
attached is screenshot per your request. I also tried to remove the plugin, after reboot it reappears.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
nvidia driver version 590.xx causes "NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running." hardware: Nvidia GPU P2000. tried to rollback to version 580.xx by selecting version in the nvidia plugin. System says 590.xx already downloaded. I guess asking how do I roll back to a previous driver version (580.xx seemed to work)?

System freezing up requiring hard reboot
Assistance required, I been running Unraid for six years without issue on Dell Poweredge R710. Both hardware and software OS have been rock solidmercury-diagnostics-20250225-1502.zipmercury-diagnostics-20250225-1502.zip. The past several weeks have been challenging. I upgraded to version 7.0 and begun having a number of issues that I have worked through (E.g network connectivity, Docker lock-up etc.) Last week the system locked up without warning, Checked for bad cables, power supply, memory modules, hard drives. Two of the drives were splitting out smart errors so I replaced. them. The system lock ups have persisted. The pattern seems to be every two to three days between the lock ups. I only point to release version 7.0 because that is the only thing that has changed in my environment. Any help diagnosing would be appreciated.

Attempted to Upgrade to 6.11 system stalls during OS boot "Press enter to reboot"
thanks for the response, I got back up and running after creating the v6.11 flash drive and copying the config directory from the backup. There seems to be a number of members who have run into this issue with Unraid, not specifically related to v6.XX. file corruption, it happens.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Unifi-Controller
I am a novice in Unraid and just brought to Unifi APs so I need load to the Unifi Controller and wanted to create and use the docker version in lieu of Windows. Been playing it it a for about an hour and have hit a couple of speed bumps right out of the gate : 1) installation failed giving the following error related to port 8080/8443. I do have other dockers using 8080. I am there a simple fix. Probably related the docker will only open in host mode. 2) Any special handling instructions for folks using Pfsense? Unlocked port (NAT) etc?
